Lovely, full service hotel with all the amenities!
Pros:

The property was beautiful! We loved hanging out on the couches in the bar and watching the soccer game, such a cozy and welcoming environment! We ate at the restaurant, the coffee shop and bar… all were awesome! The hotel room was large and fully equipped!

Cons:

I was disappointed with the couch, the room I selected had a sectional pictured but the room we received had only an armless couch with cushions that weren’t even the correct size for the couch. I was disappointed because my sons were visiting and I imagined hanging out in the room on the couch. I called the desk when we arrived to ask for a different room and they said they didn’t have anything else we could move to. That was disappointing :(

Serious Safety Hazard and Missing Property
Cons:

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

The most serious issue was a dangerous safety hazard in my room. There was a sharp metal piece protruding from the bathroom wall near the light switch. When I reached to turn on the light, I severely cut my finger. This wasn’t a minor cut. Part of my fingertip was sliced off because of the exposed metal. No guest should ever be injured simply by turning on a bathroom light.

The hotel’s response was extremely disappointing. Aside from offering a room upgrade, they did very little to help. They told me they would provide the phone number and email address for the department handling medical claims, but they never followed through despite promising to do so.

To make matters even worse, I checked in a bottle of tequila worth approximately $3,000 with the hotel’s luggage storage. The bottle was stored separately, not inside any luggage. After I left the hotel, I called to arrange pickup, only to be told that it was gone. The bottle disappeared while it was in the hotel’s custody. When I asked who had handled it, the hotel refused to identify the employees who had access to it or explain how such a valuable item could simply disappear.

A guest was seriously injured because of an unsafe room, the hotel failed to properly follow up afterward, and an expensive personal belonging disappeared while under the hotel’s care. These are not the standards anyone should expect from a hotel. I cannot recommend staying here.

Pros:

Close to stadium oracle

Cons:

Valet parking. Took too long to get a valet and 2 hours to receive my vehicle. Unbelievable. If I can tell people not to book there I would.

Poor experience unfortunately
Pros:

Room was nicely set out and comfortable
Nice bathroom

Cons:

Poor WiFi and internet connection.
Unfortunately these days, if hotels don’t have any contingency to have connectivity promptly sorted, it ultimately leads to a poor experience. Blaming providers, just doesn’t lead to a great experience

Would stay again
Pros:

Love the aesthetic and contemporary colors/art. Great central location.

Cons:

Could do without the freestanding TV in the lobby. Definitely drops the aesthetic value down. And there’s another tv behind it in the restaurant.
Also could use at least an info flyer in the room. Assuming that was to cut back waste but even a quick note of where the closest ice machine was, gym, etc.

We enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff at The Clancy.
Pros:

Location was perfect for what we were doing in San Francisco, rooms were clean staff was wonderful.

Cons:

Though it’s a going deal in San Francisco, parking is ridiculously high.
