Said they had breakfast but all they had was apples oranges bananas
No real breakfast
Absolutely nothing.
Wildly disappointed. We first walk into the room and turned the A/C unit on and was so loud the family could not hear one another speak. Reeked of cigarettes and Marijuana throughout the entire motel. Oh one other thing, I didnt know the motel housed the homeless and Crack addicts. Was a shame, I traveled with my 16 and 13 year old and they got to see this first hand. I will never again stay at a Howard Johnson!!!
Was a place to stay no breakfast hair in tub
Everything
Price clean rooms. AC great
Carpet in hall smell musky
Ice machine on our 5th floor not working
Bathroom very small with no ventilation and minimal lighting
There is nothi
ng g that was good.
N/A
There was a Wawa and grocery store within walking distance.
The ac sounded like a jack hammer while running kept me up most of the night . The pool had questionable stuff floating on top and bottom of it . Stayed with my family and got one tiny pillow per person and was told that’s pretty much all we were getting
Staff was nice
The first room we got put in the tolet was broken. The 2nd room, the shower only works on misted. The fridge door is broke. Had to go get ice from a gas station. Ice machines was also broke as well. The pool states it closes at ten however the staff said they have not updated the hours to say 9. The AC is damage as well. The TV has lines tho it. It was not worth the money.
Hotel was conveniently located to restaurants and an absolutely reasonable distance to the theme parks! Gas station across the street and fast food within walking distance also!
There was an unpleasant smell in the elevators, you could tell that people were smoking in some of the rooms, there was zero water pressure and some of the other guests were taking part in questionable activities that could be heard and seen by other guests.
The pool
The housekeeper took my blunt I had in the bathroom
It was very clean and comfortable
The price was excellent. The refrigerator in my room was the best of any hotel I've stayed in worldwide.
One issue. There was a roach in my room. It was KIA.
La ubicación
Mi cuarto ko tenía microondas y la cafetería estaba en el baño eso es anti higiénico
The indoor pool , staff were nice . Fixed a broken faucet quickly .
Some areas had a very moldy smell. Our air conditioning was loud when running .
I liked that the front desk person was friendly, prompt and check-in/check-out was a breeze. I liked that my room was large and spacious. I liked the decor, the bright accent colors, and the beds were very neat.
I didn't like the building's outer appearance when driving up...it needs better curb appeal. I didn't like that the shower/tub fixtures were covered with a bit of lime buildup.
The location
The elevator and the 6th smelled like wet dog. Very over whelming. The air conditioner was not on prior to our stay the room took a very long time to cool down. The toilet had hard water stains..
I didn’t like that it smelled like cigarettes even though I paid for a non smoking room. I didn’t like that the water temperature in the jacuzzi tub was only hot if the hot water was running in the bath tub in the bathroom, so we had to carry buckets of water to the jacuzzi tub and it was not worth what I paid. I didn’t like the “breakfast” because it was only granola bars. The bed was hard and we could not sleep. The walls were thin and we heard other guests and cars on the road outside all night. The AC did NOT work.
Awful stay and will not be back. Most people looking for an inexpensive hotel in the area near Busch gardens are looking at the amenities of a hotel. Knowing it was going to be a drizzly weekend to visit Busch gardens, we wanted at the very least an indoor pool to enjoy. This hotel advertised an indoor heated pool. It was frigid cold. My husband went to the front desk to inquire if they would be willing to turn on the heat (figuring it was off due to guest volume) and he was met with a resounding “NO”. We thought, ok well at least we have a nice jetted tub. Jets don’t work. The beds are also hard as a rock, like laying on a cement slab. The rooms are very outdated. But the lobby is deceivingly gorgeous and fancy. The breakfast they offer is a few buckets of prepackaged snacks. Take my advice and avoid this one unless you’re simply looking for somewhere to sleep.
