Unpleasant stay, very surprised Hilton put their name on property without fixing it up.

Stayed six nights prepaid it would have left.
Dilapidated in need of renovation. Toilet was running at checkin, improperly installed flap which I fixed. Spotty room service, days apart, we had to find maid to get toilet paper and towels. Elevator stopped working one day and we had to walk up eight flights to fourth floor which at age 75 was very difficult. Hallways way overdue for update with torn wall paper and damaged trim throughout. Hallways not air conditioned and very hot and stuffy first four days. Outside landscaping in need of major work.

It was for one night. I was charged twice for my pet & had to request a refund.
Pros:

Didn’t eat. Tried to make hit tea but hit water pump was empty so I walked into the back kitchen & got hit water.

Cons:

Back entry area was very dirty, entry floor was dirty.

Elevator, can't do stairs. Hot, didn't work alot....door would close. Then open again. Like 3x.
Garbages over flowing , outside also
I've called the last few months, asking for close rooms. I paid for a king with couch, I can't sleep in bed. That was on 4th floor and our other room was on second. Wish I would have known that months ago. So I got a cheaper room next to the other. I got screwed on money.
Just bread, bagels, and yogurt. By 8am. Nothing was filled up. No coffee. Creamer was empty. Boiled eggs were empty. It was sad. Kids cereal was stale.
Very few towels in pool.
I had to clean air conditioner filter. Fan in bathroom was pulled out, not sure why, so I pushed it back In.
No ice bag/box in room.

Pros:

The staff was accommodating and friendly. Pool was great. Rooms were comfortable. Good location, close to Downtown Grand Rapids. Easy drive to most places. Quiet area tucked away from the roads.

Cons:

Really hot in the hallways on the top floors. Pillows flattened quickly. Ice maker and microwave is on the first floor used for all guests. We heated up food our second night and ate on the first floor at a common area, so we adjusted.

Affordable and reliable, it was incredibly convenient and staff was lovely
Pros:

It was easy to find and close to the highway, it was older but staff obviously take good care of facilities and were incredibly nice and helpful :)

Cons:

It was on the older side but in no way dirty or unkept

For the price and location good enough.
Pros:

The assistant manager was amazing. When we checked into the first room it had a terrible odor. The manager, Becky I believe, was great at getting us into a different better smelling room.

Cons:

The breakfast was not anywhere near what I had expected. Most hotel continental breakfasts I have had include at least something warm like a waffle or eggs and breakfast meat. This one was very disappointing.

Not clean would not recommend found two baby roaches upon arrival on the bed Hilton do better
Cons:

Thought was going to be a great clean hotel not roaches not 1 but 2 roaches were killed we never complained what’s the use I’m sure roaches were everywhere

I did not stay at this hotel.They canceled my reservation before I even got there.The representative or front Desk clerk. That I talked to 2 days in a row named Bobby. Joe has the worst attitude to be working in customer service.
