Ottimo hotel, ci ritornerei!
Pros:

La camera comoda e accogliente, aria condizionata fantastica per l’estate.

La posizione dell’hotel ottima, c’è la metro a pochissimi passi dall’hotel che è comoda per raggiungere i centri come la Rambla o Plaça de Catalunya.

Il personale, sia la reception che i camerieri professionali e gentili.

Anche il cibo è molto buono.

Cons:

È capitato che di notte o la mattina presto ci sono dei rumori forti dal bagno.

A parte quello tutto ottimo.

L’unico appunto è anche per la colazione:
ottima! Ma avrei dato ancora più scelta per la parte dei dolci (come l’aggiunta dei donuts 🍩). Ma tutto ottimo.

Great location. Lovely clean hotel with rooftop pool
Pros:

Good location. Modern, good quality hotel. Great selection at breakfast. Added bonus of a rooftop pool and bar. Excellent air conditioning

Cons:

Towels weren’t always replaced in room when taken for cleaning and had to ring housekeeping

Good location. Bad property
Pros:

We were in Barcelona for a 3 day visit and had booked 4 rooms.

While the hotel location is good (walking distance to La Ramla) the hotel as not just upto the mark.

Issues we faced:
1. Married couple given two single beds and kids given a queen bed room
2. Uncourteous staff - people standing in the lobby but not willing to help even senior citizens and kids. Even when asked they provide half hearted information
3. Rooms have no toiletries - unseen in a 4 star property
4. Breakfast sucked - pathetic spread. Worst churros we ate in Spain, fried in bad oil.
5. Name sake pool

Overall pathetic experience with the hotel. Totally contrary to the other hotels we stayed in Madrid and Seville.

Cool relaxing and great beer
Pros:

Loved loved loved the rooftop.
Room was also super clean, cool design, and radio!

Cons:

Little annoying that there’s no shade on the rooftop unless you bag a sofa (that are in high demand).
Parasols would’ve made it 10/10

Book with confidence! This hotel has it all for a stay in Barcelona.. the hotel is immaculate, gives 5☆ vibes 100%, rooms are very well equipped, restaurant and rooftop pool and bar are great and a welcome relief to cool off from the sun, all staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble, I have stayed in many hotels over the past 15 years but universal is my go to hotel 🏨 100% and a great location, 👍
