Unexpectedly bad experience, and a life threatening situation. Avoid this hotel.

Cons:

Our check-in experience was typical; we arrived tired from Massachusetts around 8:30 PM. We were assigned a room on the second floor, but the room and the entire hallway felt suffocating because the air conditioning was turned off.

My next issue occurred when I got stuck in the bathroom due to a malfunctioning lock. It was very uncomfortable inside, but fortunately, I had my mobile phone with me and called the front desk for assistance. However, the front desk staff couldn’t open the lock, and there was no maintenance person available. Thankfully, the staff from the adjacent restaurant helped us break the lock before the fire department arrived.

This situation could have been life-threatening if I had been alone and entered the bathroom without a mobile phone. I quickly went to the front desk with my family to report the hot and stuffy room (it was the first week of July) and requested a room change. The front desk staff's attitude was unacceptable; instead of being apologetic or inquiring about our issues, she hesitated to give us a new room. Can you believe that?

The next morning, we experienced another problem: there was no hot water due to a plumbing issue that was communicated to us. Yet again, no maintenance staff was available to handle the issue.

I would strongly advise anyone reading this review not to book a room at this hotel. The management is poor, and the maintenance is inadequate.
