Hotel óptimo para volver una y mil veces
Pros:

Este hotel fue un grato descubrimiento, casi de casualidad. Encontré la mejor ubicación de mi estancia en Rio, cerca del comienzo de Ipanema y la Plaza Osorio con el metro cercano. Hotel limpio, sin grandes lujos pero con gran atención. La seguridad en esta zona está bien, con las precauciones normales para la ciudad.

Cons:

El hotel no tiene restaurante pero no fue grave, con lugares a escasa distancia.

FLEA INFESTED rooms but management did not care or offer a refund.

The bed was infested with FLEAS. I started waking up with bug bites and on my second to last night around midnight, I got 15 bites on my feet after sitting on the bed for 15 minutes. Once I realized my room was infested I went to the front desk and had them switch my room. They were even hesitant to do that - I had to put my foot on the counter and show them my bug bites. When I checked out a day later, I asked them to refund me at least the night that I had to switch rooms as I had stayed up checking both rooms for mosquitos, bed bugs, fleas, etc. They refused. It is customary to offer refunds due to bug infestations but they said I should’ve resolved the problem the second it happened (at midnight??) and they wouldn’t refund me anyway.

The morning I checked out, I had put an outfit on the table before packing up. It was completely covered in ANTS. At least 40-50 ants crawling all over my clothes and backpack. I had to leave my clothes behind as I didn’t want to risk not removing all the ants and contaminating my luggage. Again the front desk didn’t care and said it was normal.

This hotel is not clean and infested with BUGS. They do not care about your experience or properly fixing any problems you bring up as a guest. Horrible, traumatizing stay.
