The bed was comfy and the evening reception and breakfast was nice.
The snack area at the evening reception was messy and looked picked over.
The handles for the shower need to be adjusted. They fell off and spun around so not able to gauge the hot water.
Everything went well: room, breakfast, bed.
Just a comment on the front desk staff, that she should not chew gum while talking and dealing with the customers, which she was doing when we're checking in. She's not like too accommodating to talk with as well. I've worked in a hotel and resort and i know how a front liner should be.
Great value for money
Sofa bed mattress very uncomfortable
1. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the evening drinks service, which were a nice added benefit during our stay.
2. The shuttle service to Disneyland (available for an additional fee) was very convenient. The pickup point was directly in front of the hotel, making it easy to get to and from Disneyland without having to worry about parking or transport.
3. We really liked the hotel’s location. It was within walking distance of the car rental company, which was very convenient as we decided to hire a car a couple of days into our stay. Having the car made it easy to drive into Los Angeles for a day of sightseeing and then head to Huntington Beach the following day.
4. The location was also great for families. There were plenty of family-friendly restaurants and food outlets within easy reach, with lots of variety and options to suit families with young children. This made finding somewhere to eat each day very easy and convenient.
1. Coming from Sydney, Australia, and being unfamiliar with the local transportation options, we specifically relied on the information provided on Booking.com when planning our arrival. Booking.com displayed an airport transfer/shuttle icon for the hotel, so we contacted the hotel through the Booking.com messaging system before our stay to ask whether an airport transfer could be arranged and whether there would be a fee. Unfortunately, the hotel did not respond to our message or even acknowledge the enquiry. We found this disappointing, particularly as an airport transfer was indicated on the Booking.com listing. Had we received a response, we could have planned our transportation accordingly and considered other options, including hiring a rental car, which would have been a fraction of the cost. Instead, we had to arrange an Uber from the airport at short notice and paid US$185 (UberXXL). As international visitors unfamiliar with the local transport system, having a response from the hotel would have allowed us to make a more informed and cost-effective decision.
2. The pool appeared to be heavily chlorinated, which made the water look somewhat murky. It would have been nicer if the pool water had been clearer and more inviting.
Swimming pool was good
Very dusty room, evening reception was extremely disappointing with undrinkable wine. No body wash, cups and coffee weren’t replenished daily.
The Embassy Suites in Anaheim was a comfortable stay with clean, quiet rooms that made it easy to rest after a full day. The price was a great value for the space and amenities, especially compared with nearby hotels. The location was excellent, close to the parks and main attractions without the extra drive.
One elevator not working
It was very nice. The staff were friendly. The location was great. The price was affordable. I would definitely stay at this location again.
