Great hotel!
Pros:

We just spent 4 days at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The hotel is lovely and in a great central location. The room was outfitted with everything you might need. I like that they had a coffee maker and a separate tea kettle. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. I would like to say a special thank you to the front desk, they were very helpful.

Pros:

Very convenient location. I liked the lounge area and board games on the ground floor. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The taxi driver didn't know where the hotel was located. Also the room seemed expensive.

Absolutely lovely stay
Pros:

One of those outstanding places you can’t wait to recommend to friends. Such a welcoming greeting at the front desk, with an introduction to the hotel and amenities available to us. They have that confidence that you will love your stay that is infectious! Our room was actually available even though it was before noon and we had only intended to leave our bags.
We enjoyed the comfortable room, unique and spacious (even with 4 of us!), and with water, kettle, coffee maker, couch. The sitting area (really much more of a living room than a lobby!) has comfortable seating, the espresso/cappuccino/latte machine, fruit, plus local and classic books and many board games available.
Breakfast (in a wicker basket, with croissants, juice, yogurt, local cheese, etc) was hearty as well as a fun delivery. If we had not been departing town, it would have easily served as two meals of the day! (And we went and collected cappuccinos from the sitting room to have with it!)
Beautiful location, very walkable to local sites. We also walked to and from the train station and cruise port - that’s a pretty steep hill, so would only suggest it if your luggage is portable and the weather is good, but certainly feasible!

Excellent location, friendly & helpfu staff, clean rooms
Pros:

The hotel is well located and we enjoyed the breakfast in a basket each morning (croissants, jam, yogurt, juice). Front desk staff were very professional and warm. There are coffee makers and tea kettles in the room, as well as an espresso maker and fruit in the first floor lounge. The room and bathroom were immaculate. Kudos to the cleaning team!

Our only issue is that you're not able to pick a specific room beyond room type, such as Superior or Deluxe. They let you know in advance that they can't guarantee a specific room based on photos on their website or asking for a front or corner room. As we learned, some of the tables are lower and it makes eating in the room a bit awkward. The lounge is available, but we preferred staying in our room for breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again, but it is something to be aware of.

Delightful stay
Pros:

We stayed three nights in a superior room on the third floor and everything was great. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It was very quiet in our room even though they were remodeling the 4th floor. The breakfast basket option was very convenient and glad we made that choice. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful, particularly Pierre (sp? Not sure the name is quite right) during the evenings who went out of his way to make sure the temperature in our room was just right. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all the sights. A great stay.

A wonderful experience
Pros:

My 78 year old mother and I had 4 wonderful nights at this beautiful hotel and could not speak more highly of it. In a perfect position, our room was modern, comfortable and larger than most other twin-double rooms I've stayed in. Reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely Hotel Great Location
Pros:

We spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Weather did not cooperate but we had wonderful time. We paid for the "small queen room" which turned out to be a decent size with closets and everything we needed during the stay. We used the lounge for both breakfast and dinner. It was well decorated with a fireplace and comfortable chairs and tables. Location of the hotel is close to everywhere. We will recommend this hotel to everyone who visit Quebec City.

Superbly located boutique hotel perfect for a comfortable and memorable Old Quebec City experience.
Pros:

Location in old Quebec City is superb. On Rue-St-Jean with excellent shops, restaurants and cafes outside the door, and a short walk from all of the interesting sights and sites - the boardwalk, lower town, the citadelle, the museums. A major factor was the available information about the room: I was certain that it would have two comfy chairs as well as a desk. Bathroom ticked every box - room to hang the towels including warming rack, ample counter and shelf space for personal toiletries, and, low lighting for the nighttime bathroom visits. The library on the ground floor offers groups an inviting place to socialize on premises, supplied with books and games too. Staff were helpful yet discrete.

Cons:

Absolutely no complaints or wishes. I will comment for others to understand that as an older property, the bathroom is equipped with a standard bathtub/shower combo, i.e. not a glass-enclosed walk-in shower as has become popular in recent years. That said, the shower experience totally met our needs - hot water, lots of it, good water pressure. For us the location and overall comfort of the room for a multi-night stay were the main considerations and we were very happy with our stay.

Good Stay During Quebec Winter Carnival
Pros:

Stayed here for 3 nights during Quebec City's winter carnival. The hotel is located in a convenient and quiet location. Parking is available for a fee at the hotel and must be reserved in advance. The Superior room was a good size, containing a comfortable queen bed, upholstered chair and ottoman, small table with two chairs, coffee maker and minifridge. All furnishings and linens were clean and in good repair. As noted on the website, breakfast is included if the reservation is made via the hotel. A good choice of self serve food was available - coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, potatoes, fruit salad, apples, pastries, toast.

Interactions with reception were always present. Comfortable seating is available in the lobby in addition to a coffee machine that's capable of brewing different types of coffees. We wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

Intimate and charming hotel in a perfect location.
Pros:

This intimate, charming hotel is the perfect location for exploring all 5 of the Christmas markets, the upper and lower towns of Old Quebec, close to both the stairs and the funicular and Chateau Frontenac; convenient for viewing the unique Christmas puppet parade right on beautifully decorated Rue St-Jean, great restaurants and shops, crossing the St Lawrence on the Quebec-Levis ferry, exploring Montmorency Falls and the picturesque vineyards, orchards and cideries of Ille d'Orleans "(the island"). The staff is friendly and super helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations, calling cabs, etc. Their walking tour guides provided in each room are great. *Upgrade to a room with a fireplace. Perfection! If you have an early departure, request one of their adorable breakfast baskets of croissants, pastries and juices hung on the door of your room. They also have their own raw honey for sale from the hives on their roof. The Hortus restaurant next door is a great gem for lunch and super convenient.

The hotel met and exceeded in many ways our expectations.
Pros:

The location was exceptional for what touring we wanted to do. Parking was a minute walk into an underground parking area and what very reasonable in price per day.

Cons:

Really can't think of anything that we didn't like. Would definitely stay there again.
