Shappy rooms
Pros:

The staff were pleasant

Cons:

Rooms were very shabby - and where painted were awful paint not removed from wires/door handles.
Misding wardrobe handle - no remote control for tv - bathroom door did not close.
Fire alarm at 5 am due to a guest smoking in his shower!

Good for one night stop on the way back home
Pros:

I emailed the hotel to ask for a quiet room if possible, which they did for me.
For reference it was room 312, down the end of the corridor on the ground floor.
Breakfast was plentiful and very nice, a good selection of hot and cold food to choose from.
Staff were also very pleasant and helpful.
Safe parking.
Quiet location.

Cons:

As per the reviews I looked at before booking.
Rooms are a little tired.
Bed was hard, but fine for me.
Bathroom door didn't shut properly.
I would have liked to be able to control the heating in the room.
But there was a portable heater in the cupboard which I used.
For some reason the tea & coffee making items were "hidden" away in a cupboard?
Didn't appreciate being woken up at 5 am with the fire alarm going off.
When I finally managed to ring the receptionist and ask what is going on, they said that a guest was having a shower with the bathroom door open, which set off the alarm!
Surely this couldn't have been the first time that this had happened.
Yet there were NO warning signs on the inside of the bathroom door??!!

Enjoyable and peaceful.
Pros:

Everything was clean and well advertised, we really enjoyed our stay, we are definitely going to come back again, loved tge fact the put was on site. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

The toilet in the suite was noisy to flush, but other than that, amazing hotel.

Reasonable and not too expensive for short stay
Pros:

The staff was very kind, room clean and the fact of having restaurant and bar as part of the infrastructure help us as guests and facilities not having the need of moving out after a day of work

Cons:

The hotel shows some age and requires some renewal. Continental breakfast is almost not existent and makes me as European chose the English version

Parking facility was excellent, beds made up every day, location had excellent connections. Would recommend.

Cons:

Rooms a little dated. Would love to see more plug sockets and possibly USB sockets in the room.
