No air conditioner
Great location if you have to get to the Alexander stadium - only a 10min drive. Staff we're very friendly and room was clean. Overall a great stay!
Only bad thing is there wasn't anywhere to get a coffee after breakfast had finished. This is being picky and the staff did get me and my friend a pot of coffee when we asked.
Friendly staff, good food, lovely room and comfy bed. Location good
Hotel itself looks tired and in need of better décor. Dining room very plain with old fashioned dining chairs which needed refreshing.
Got told my room was not available and was made to pay extra for different room
Clean
Very dated carpets and furniture could do with a refurbished saff could do a lot better taking plates with food on back instead of leaving most of the day and cups and tea pots out side all day
Everything was what I expected
Lovely surroundings very happy staying there
Nothing
The windows in the room were filthy.
The room was lovely
The bathroom was outdated, needs refreshing.
The Suite was spacious, well decorated and relatively clean. The extra large bed was comfortable, the small sofa was practical and the large fan was most welcome on a warm balmy night.
Reception staff were indifferent, handed us the key and that's it. We worked out ourselves where breakfast would be and at what time. The walk to the Suite was disappointing considering that we read that they had recently spent £1m on a refurbishment. The carpets were threadbare, one part of carpet had burn marks and the walls were grubby. We found that the Suite wasn't as clean as it looked on the surface when some loose change came out of my pocket and I needed to look under the sofa cushion and on the floor nearby (filthy is how I would best describe it). Whilst the shower was large it was slippery and the soap dispenser fell off the wall when touched.
