Some issues, very noisy hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast and breakfast service staff were pleasant. Issues with sort of resolved with shower upon request.

Cons:

Road noise, no alternative offered despite requesting a quiet room. Loud wedding reception with music until midnight. No way of cooling room. Blocked shower drain which was smelly. No shower gel in container. Very small room, if you're oversized you wouldn't get into the shower!

Charming country hotel
Pros:

Really nice hotel/inn close to Oxford and Woodstock.
Very friendly staff. Smaller room, but fine for 1 night. Beautiful grounds and a good breakfast.

Cons:

Room was small (room 35) and that was ok, but it was on the top floor and no aircondition in 30 degrees. . Only a small part of the window could open, the other window could not open. The staff tried, but could not. Gave us a fan instead which helped very little. It was a long hot night.
Had dinner in the restaurant, bread was terribly hard, they refunded it. Starters were not so interesting, but mains very good.
I would stay again, but get a better room.

This was one of the best hotels my husband and I had stayed in.
Pros:

The room was very clean andd in a quiet area of the hotel. Breakfast was self-service with plenty of choice. The menu for dinner provided an excellent choice and the food was beautifully presented and hot.
The location (13 miles from Oxford) was perfect. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel was beautifully furnished and the large garden an excellent place to stroll or sit and relax.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel and service we received. It was all excellent.

Cons:

Standard room was very hot & uncomfortable. We used the fan in our room but during the night the room was extremely hot

Pros:

Good breakfast but we paid for family to visit us for Breakfast and thought £15 each was expensive.

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable and 3 steps into en suite with no handrail to help climb steps.
