Pros:

A lovely hotel, steeped in history. A beautiful garden to sit out and dine. Delicious food and friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and the room clean.
Good breakfast choices. Approx. 8 miles to Blenheim Palace. Will stay again

Perfect stay at gorgeous hotel
Pros:

What a great stay we had at The Holt hotel.
The room was big, clean with a huge comfortable bed.

We ate at the hotel the first night and the meal was delicious

Breakfast was amazing too, plenty of choice

Very convenient location for oxford and blenheim

Highly recommend

Very disappointing. A very standard room, not deluxe at all.

Nice gardens.

Cons:

We paid for an upgrade on a room as the hotel had contacted us to offer this. We paid a little bit more for a deluxe double and it was underwhelming. A premier inn would have had the same room much cheaper. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly from last visitor and there was used tissues by the bed.

Very comfortable; some minor improvements would make it perfect.
Pros:

It was mostly very good. The staff were lovely.

Cons:

The bedroom floor had hair grips and bits on the floor like the room floor had not been cleaned. The breakfast plates from the warmer were cold making your cooked breakfast cost very quickly. And when we came back in the evening we struggled to find anywhere to park. And no bottled water in the room.

Nice place, breakfast wasn’t great probably wouldn’t stay here again

The property is set on a main road, the back gardens are stunning & the facilities were good with a gym & EV Charging

Cons:

It was the hottest day of the year, water should have been provided on arrival but sadly it wasn’t, we were told there was only tap water

Nice hotel conveniently located to Blenheim Palace Festival
Pros:

Nice hotel, actually bigger than I thought. Ample parking, welcoming front desk. Room was a good size and as described, very clean. We stayed for one night as we were going to see Pete Tong - Blenheim Palace Festival and it was conveniently located 15 mins drive away. Good choice of food for breakfast. We had a comfortable stay and would stay again.

Blenheim/Woodstock overnight trip - great location
Pros:

Lovely picturesque hotel, excellent quality & clean rooms, all areas were comfortable throughout. Nice outside seating space. Lovely breakfast & helpful staff

Cons:

Doesn’t serve some sort of food all day (even light bites or snacks) which is odd as never stayed anywhere that doesn’t offer regular food options & room service.
Also the bar was closed when we arrived back at night & it wasn’t that late, people were still sitting in the area.
