A perfect hotel/room but Vlore is terrible - you must get to the peninsula beaches by boat
Pros:

This is a great hotel in a prime location, right on the beach in Vlore. Our room was great: a corner room with great views and a balcony, on the top floor. The room was large, very well-equipped and very modern and nicely decorated. In addition, everything technical worked (which is far from a given in Albania): the A/C, plumbing, frig, coffee machine, etc.

Cons:

With the hotel itself, my only complaint is with some advice we got from the staff on booking a private tour of the nearby peninsula: this was badly overpriced and pretty boring, although it was a last-minute thought.

Otherwise, my main comment is about Vlore itself: it's terrible. Overcrowded and with a horrible beach and TRULY HORRIBLE sea: very shallow (and therefore warm and not refreshing) and very unclear waters. This is definitely NOT the turquoise water that one is looking for on the Albanian Riviera. If you come here, you MUST get to the beaches on the nearby peninsula or islands, taking one of the numerous group boats to get there.

A 2-3* accommodation experience
Pros:

Good location, around and hour walk to the end of the promenade, good breakfast with freshly made eggs (how ever you like them), freshly brewed coffee, nice selection of fruits, vegetables, pastries, spacious room, nice beach bar where you can order pizzas, drinks (similar or a bit higher prices than in Sarande, Ksamil), sandy beach which was a huge surprise. Free parking on the street.

Cons:

Main disappointment was how the staff handled one incident where some of my belongings disappeared from the beach club lounge chairs. Long story short- i never got them back, never got an explanation or an apology for throwing away my belongings. Staff said that they were going to check the video cameras to see what happened but during the 8h I was at the club they never gave an explanation or an apology.
The hotel room 305 (Deluxe Double Room) unfortunately has a very mediocre view as you barely can see the boulevard (275eur per night). Moreover, the blinding curtains in this room wont close all the way as the right curtain is too short.
Keeping in mind it is a 4* hotel they do not have any body lotion in their rooms, no vanity kit, no separate shower gel, shampoo, conditioner- only 3-1 gel which for me leaves a gym vibe.

Fantastic hotel do not hesitate to book
Pros:

The bedroom was spacious, clean and they brought complimentary fruit to our room upon arrival which was a lovely touch. The lobby smelt amazing and cleaners were constantly keeping the hotel at the highest standard. The staff were fantastic, they helped immediately when my husband had an accident and cut himself and cleaned the room giving him first aid too. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was very good and again the staff in there were superb. Having the beach opposite is a great touch. Location was very good to have a walk in the evenings.
