Perfect for a one night stay, was in the correct location for my appointment at VFS Global.

It’s a kind of old and the window was broken so we couldn’t shut it completely and it was quite noisy during the night.

SU ubicacion es perfecta, muy cerca de todas las atracciones y principales puntos turisticos. LA limpieza del hotel es impecable, y el servico de wifi uno de los mejores que ya tuve en hoteles.

Cons:

No ofrecen desayuno, no tampoco estacionamiento, pero hay opciones cerca que compensan esa falta. No hay de que preocuparse.

Stay away, unless you have a lot of time to waste
Pros:

Location. Close to navy pier

Cons:

Staff was rude (Alicia). Supervisor (Don) didn’t hold staff accountable. One elevator with a capacity of 5 people. 16 floors. You do the math. My stay was terrible.

The stay was decent for the cheapest room in the city

The bed was super comfortable and the shower was nice

Cons:

There was no mini fridge and it was espresso instead of coffee. The elevators were tiny and I was glad I was on the 3rd floor and no higher

Me encanto la ubicación, el hotel estuvo lindo, aunque muy pequeñas las habitaciones, el lugar es conformable, seguro, cerca de restaurantes, tiendas, El rio Chicago y el Lago Michigan tiene una ubicación maravillosa. El personal amable, servicial y en la recepción algunos hablan español, eso me encantó.

Cons:

Que deberían ofrecer la opción de desayuno en el hotel y que la limpieza de la habitación no se tenga que programar, sino que la realicen a diario.

Rude and Unprofessional Front Desk Experience
Pros:

This incident happened on Monday, May 18, 2026 during my stay at the St. Clair Hotel – Chicago Magnificent Mile. When we went to the front desk to ask for a supervisor about the elevator being out of order, the front desk attendant, Alicia, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Only one elevator was working, and it could only hold five people. Our room was on the 16th floor, so this was a serious concern.

When we politely asked to speak with the supervisor, Alicia ignored us. When we asked again, she responded with profanity and acted like she did not care about her job or the guests. She was loud, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional.

The supervisor eventually came out because Alicia was yelling so loudly. Even when the supervisor tried to remove her from the desk, Alicia continued arguing and causing a scene. No guest should ever be treated this way.

Comfortable, value for money, great staff and location can't be beat
Pros:

Front desk staff was super friendly. Room compact but clean and functional. Not too noisy despite location.

Cons:

Cracked tiny wash basin in the otherwise very clean bathroom, fab shower made up for it.
