A great location with good amenities, but with small rooms and thin walls
Pros:

Location was great, beds were comfortable and shower was pleasant

Cons:

Rooms were small, elevators were slow and walls were thin (could hear neighbours a lot)

We were on 7th floor last toom on the left. The room smelled musty and like smoke every time the a/c kicked on. Woke up choking and smelling smoke. The closer i got to the door the stronger it smelled. I opened the door and the smoke was stronger/ I yelled for the housekeeper down the hall. She acknowledged the smoke/fire smell and said they were burning trash. She casually opened the emergency door to show me that's were it was coming from. Our room was over that area.

Definitely not coming back. I would not recommend this hotel.
Pros:

The location is definitely convenient, and that is probably the only real positive thing I can say about this hotel.

Cons:

THE ROOM IS NOT CLEANED DURING YOUR STAY. THIS SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN CAPITAL LETTERS AND MADE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR BEFORE YOU BOOK.

During our stay, we specifically requested that our room be cleaned, and it was never done. We also requested at least clean towels, and those were never brought to us either.

The bathroom is extremely small, and without any cleaning during the stay, it quickly becomes unbearable. For the price of this hotel, this level of service is simply unacceptable.

Another major issue is the noise. The windows are clearly not soundproof, and since the hotel is right in downtown Chicago, you hear sirens constantly — literally every few minutes. We understand that staying downtown comes with some city noise, but the lack of sound insulation makes it extremely difficult to sleep.

For what this hotel charges, the room, the service, and especially the management were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. The staff also came across as uninterested and unhelpful.
