The spa area was really clean and nice. Rooms were big and quiet.
The AC is behind the curtains and because of this, the cold air is trapped there so the room was really hot at all times. When we left for breakfast we left the ac on but when we came back the room cleaners left our window open and ac off…not nice. The carpets needs to be changed. In our room the carpets had stains. The outdoor pool is closing at 6PM which i don’t understand why so early…exactly when the summer weather is perfect for bathing. Could be extended to 8PM at least.
We liked the location, room size good and clean. We liked having a balcony.
We felt the outdoor poor could have stayed open later, we felt it closed too early.
Breakfast was a little disappointing, variety was good but bad quality food and some under cooked, bacon, beans and scrambled egg.
A reggeli az egyik legváltozatosabb és bőségesebb volt, amit valaha szállodában ettem, rajta van a dobogón. A szoba kicsi volt és nem voltam megbarátkozva a gondolattal, hogy nem volt aktuális fal a fürdő és a szoba között csak egy üvegpanel, de azt a pár napot kibírtuk így. Jó volt a terasz. A személyzet rendkívül segítőkész és professzionális volt. Minden elismerésem nekik. A szállás tiszta volt. Az ételek fantasztikusak. A Margit sziget pedig gyönyörű volt. A fürdő része kiváló volt, tiszta. Nem volt kártyás törölköző rendszer, nem kellett kihozni azt a medencéktől, minden alkalommal kaptál frisset. Ez utóbbi különösen tetszett. A külön szolgáltatások is remek lehetőségek voltak. A páros masszázson és a Kleopátra fürdőn vettünk részt, ami jó élmény volt számunkra. Valószínűleg fogunk még ide jönni. A parkolásra volt bőven lehetőség, azonban fizetős volt. Naponta kb 5000 ft, ami hosszabb tartózkodásnál szignifikáns összeg.

Ich buche das Hotel eigentlich nur wegen dem thermalbereich der ist super. Das Frühstück war auch wieder sehr gut aber man muss vermeiden in der Rushhour hinzugehen. Dann ist es sehr voll und hektisch. Die Lage auf der Margaret Insel finde ich immer wieder traumhaft. Man ist in der Stadt aber es ist wunderbar ruhig und man fühlt sich wie in deiner großen Parklandschaft. Der Preis ist sicherlich gehoben, aber man hat halt den Spabereich mit Thermal Pool.
Die Reinigung der Zimmer ist doch eher oberflächlich, für vier Tage ging es aber wenn man länger bleibt, ist das nicht so gut.
Es war sehr schön - alles passt, man wird sehr gut betreut, das Essen schmeckt, das Zimmer ist schön.

The breakfast buffet We ate at the Grand hotel for dinner and the food was amazing. Room was perfect. Lots of storage for your belongings. I would recommend body lotion, the pool does dry your skin. The pools were great and relaxing after a long city walk. Nicely kept clean.
The buffet at dinner later than 7:40 was dried out and cold. Complained but to no avail we paid for a dinner we did not eat. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. Holder for shampoo in Shower fell off the wall did not come back to finish the job. The curtains block the air conditioner so-you had to leave them open at night. Could not get the room dark .
Having to wait in a line up in taxi to enter when busy and the meter is running a tab of 150 Huf. Or more just to enter to drop us off. A bench at the entry outside would be nice to sit and wait for your cab or ride.

From the outside seems a little “old” or communist architecture, but fully makes up on the inside
A Margit-sziget varázsa, a szálloda fekvése. Szépen berendezett, tiszta szobák. Kilátás az erkélyről. A Platán Étterem személyzetének kedvessége és gesztusa. A lobbi bár is nagyon hangulatos volt. A wellness részleg kialakítása is tetszett.
Az első fogadtatás a recepción. Kedvességünk ellenére a recepciós hölgyből hiányzott a vendégközpontú hozzáállás, hűvös modora rányomta a bélyegét az első benyomásunkra. A szobakártyát már inkább egy másik hölgytől vettem át, és kérdezni is inkább másoktól kérdeztem.
A lift kapacitása nem elégéti ki a szálloda forgalmát.
