No aircon made it extremely uncomfortable

Липсата на климатик - вентилаторите не са решение през горещите летни дни.
В банята подът също беше горещ, вероятно от някакви тръби или от кухнята и това допълнително вдигаше градусите в стаята.
Малко трудно се регулираше температурата на водата в душа.

The location was great right near my brother's house....
We understand there was a wedding in the fuction room......but the noise in the bar and in our corridor at 1am with kids playing ball was horrendous. ..single pain windows aren't great we heard everything from the carpark and room next door.. lady at reception didn't listen and didn't care....bar way to expensive. .
Me and my sister recently stayed here, the hotel itself is pretty, the room is spacious and the staff are friendly and super helpful. The food was also a bonus, we had room service a few times and the food was top notch
The only thing honestly was the lack of Air conditioning, it was 31 when we were there and it felt like we were in an oven. The hotel does provide a fan but that was the only relief from the heat.

Breakfast was lovely and good options. Room was modern, good size and very clean. Bed was very comfortable but could of done with 2 pillows each. Did not hear anything from the Road or Houses at the side of our room apart from the Birds lol even though we had to have the window open.
We visited on one of the hottest days of the year to no air condition. We had 1 fan in our room which helped a bit but we ended up having to open a window and to no fridge, I know it did not mention the fridge when we booked, but maybe this is something that you could think about, it would be really nice to be able to have access to a cold drink.
Didn't appreciate staff from the hotel holding a business meeting right behind us (Negotiating prices etc) when we were having our breakfast, we came away from our busy working lives to relax and enjoy the City. I think it could of waited until the restaurant was closed at 10am (the meeting started around 9.40am).
I do not understand why the Hotel would charge a fee for parking when the guests have already paid for staying there.
Location, breakfast and staff. It was great to see the rooms had been refurbished.
Although there’s paid parking options on site you are expected to pay for your parking for the duration of your stay, be mindful that your parking spot is not reserved.
The hotel has some strong fundamentals. The historic building, attractive grounds, and spacious rooms show that it could be a very pleasant place to stay. Additionally:
- The quiet location of the rooms makes for a peaceful stay.
- The wifi was free and stable.
Unfortunately, it feels as though the property is not being properly maintained and is slowly falling into disrepair. In my opinion, the current star rating does not accurately reflect the overall condition and quality of the hotel. For a short business trip, it may still be acceptable, but I would not choose to stay here privately, especially considering the price charged for the experience provided (£162.96 per night for BB)
- The air conditioning was broken, making the room uncomfortably hot. (The provided fans did not help)
- The plaster in the bathroom was deteriorating and falling off in several places.
- The windows appeared poorly maintained and were partially coming apart when opened and closed.
- The bathroom and the carpet in the room were not clean,
- The breakfast buffet left a filthy impression.
- The hotel staff seemed unmotivated and unfriendly.
- Obtaining a proper business invoice was unnecessarily difficult and was only possible after departure and several reminders.
breakfast was included and was lovely. all facilities you needed were available in the hotel and hotel staff were greatly accommodating. location was just outside of London, however there was a bus stop a minute walk away and a train station a 5 minute walk away with ways to get into London easily.
Good location, friendly staff and nice clean rooms. Probably a weird compliment but the room had decent size mugs for tea and coffee which is important to us when travelling. Our room had a huge TV! And the shower was lovely
Nothing we didn't like. Only issues were there is no Aircon in the rooms so it was very warm however the hotel do provide fans if asked, other guests were very noisy slamming doors until the early hours but both of these thousand weren't the fault of the hotel, you can't control people or the weather
