Friendly staff, Clean and Tidy, check in was easy.
Card only at the bar. Cash is king.
Location is great and it has a swimming pool for kids
The bed mattresses and pillows are terrible and painful, take your own pillow if you don't want a sore head neck and ears!
The staff and team are incredibly friendly and could not do enough to make me feel comfortable and welcome.
Gym equipment is old and needs updating
The carpets were in desperate need of a clean. There was a food stain on the stairs carpet on my arrival on Monday and was there until I left on Thursday (could have been cleaned/wiped easily)
The TVs are dated, no smart TV in the room in 2026 is a sin.
The building is imposing and was ideally located for our purposes. Breakfast was standard buffet and cooked to order, but with problems, On the other hand the evening meal was nicely cooked, of good quality and nicely served and presented.
We were located in a poky room as far from the Reception as you could get, and considering the cost of the stay at £146 I thought that this was another hotel that allocates poor rooms to Booking.com customers. This is not the first occasion that we have come across this attitude, and is usually excused by being 'fully booked' as the reason. However, in this case there only appeared to be some 8-10 guests that night. The bar drinks were highly priced.
At breakfast the chef did not know how to cook scrambled egg properly, mine was not eaten because it had not been cooked at a high enough temperature to fully amalgamate the yolk and white. By now I couldn't be bothered to complain.

Nothing we could not listen to television or talk as we were being accused of saying that we were talking to loud and we was not talking at all there were people living in the hotel immigrants it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the facilities were atrocious we checked in and they finished at 5pm and we could not check in till 3pm not good they should of stayed the facilities till at least 7pm I felt like I was at a school trip and after 9pm we could not talk and lights had to be out and for the reception staff to be outside our door listening to our conversation that is out of order
Everything
We stayed at Stourport Manor for our anniversary and overall had a really lovely experience. Our room was nice and spacious, with a very big and comfortable bed, which made a big difference to our stay. The white bedding was exactly what we like, so that was a big plus. The only downside to the room itself was that the bathroom was quite small.
We made use of the pool and spa facilities, which were just £5 for a day pass—great value for money. We really enjoyed relaxing there during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with very nice bars and a really pretty outdoor area that made the whole experience feel special.
The staff were all really lovely and helpful throughout our visit, which added to the positive atmosphere. For dinner, we went to The Watermill and had a great meal, and on the day we checked out, we headed to West Midland Safari Park, which was so close by and absolutely amazing.
Overall, we had a great time at the hotel and would definitely recommend it. The only negatives were that the room was extremely hot, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times, and unfortunately, a special anniversary request we had made wasn’t fulfilled.
Despite that, it was a really enjoyable stay and a memorable way to celebrate our anniversary.
Did not have breakfast
Very nice young man on reception .
Very nice coffee in the lounge.
Convenient location to walk into the town
Room had a funny smell. TV remote was missing, telephone didn't work. Room was very cold on entering for the first time.
Bathroom was dirty.
Didn't like the fact you had to pay to use the leisure facilities, even as guests of the hotel
Really tired hotel. Room was freezing, no remote control for TV and telephone didn't work. That was just to start with.
Have to pay £5 per person per visit to use the leisure facilities so we didn't bother. WiFi really slow. Bathroom was disgusting...photos to follow. No meals were included in our room rate from booking.com so we didn't want to try restaurant after state of room. Disappointing experience.
Only positive was a very pleasant young man on reception!
