Lyxigt hotell i fint läge med god mat och underbar service

Servicen på hotellet var helt exemplarisk, särskilt den personliga och omtänksamma personalen Lakshmi & Team i Club Loungen som fick oss att känna oss djupt välkomna och kom ihåg våra beställningar (bl.a. goda dosas och Pani Puri). Vår städare Piyush visade fantastisk precision, fyllde ständigt på med färskt vatten och ställde till och med upp våra skor och tandborstar i perfekta rader.

Middagen på Lake View Café var magiskt god med lammbiryani och en fantastisk lokal kycklinggryta. Poolen, poolområdet och omklädningsrum var fina och trevliga. Utcheckningen och kortbetalningen (reglering mot pre-auktoriseringen) sköttes helt smärtfritt utan att vi ens behövde ta fram kortet.

Cons:

På grund av monsunsäsongen kändes rummet och sängkläderna ganska fuktiga, trots att luftkonditioneringen kördes för fullt. När vi provade den stora frukostbuffén i Lake View Café blev jag helt ignorerad när jag inte kom ihåg mitt bordsnummer, vilket kontrasterade mot den annars ypperliga servicen från dosa kocken och resterande service på hotellet

Vi saknade även en hårfön på rummet vid ankomst, men det ordnades efter att vi bett om det. Läget vid sjön är vackert, men hotellet ligger ganska avskilt och det är inte alls promenadvänligt om man vill lämna området till fots. Vill man köpa något (t.ex. dryck eller snacks på D-Mart) måste man ta sig förbi den extremt trafikerade JVLR-vägen, vilket kräver att man tar en taxi eller auto-rickshaw varje gång.
