Overall, loved the design of the hotel and the location right on the main Plaza. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes within blocks of the hotel. The lush garden and pool area was very nice.
Some aspects of the public areas of the hotel are showing their age, but on the whole it’s a very cozy and comfortable environment. The rooms are very spacious, nicely appointed and were very clean. Loved the balconies to step out on.
Highly recommend the hotel. IT is centrally located in Healdsburg, a very cute and friendly town. The hotel was well-appointed and comfortable. Rooms were spacious and quiet. The hotel had all the amenities, a great pool, good restaurants, and a common space. And the staff was fantastic and helpful.
We had a nice 2 night stay here while riding with Backroads. Nice room. Good sized. Large bathroom with large shower. Nice facilities for bike riders. Central Healdsburg.
Great location.
We stayed at Hotel Healdsburg many years ago and had a fantastic experience, which made this recent visit particularly disappointing. It feels like the property hasn’t been meaningfully updated in the past 15 years. Our room was dated and lacked character, and the lobby, bar, and restaurant all felt dark and uninviting.
With so many newer luxury hotels opening just outside the main square, it seems Hotel Healdsburg is relying heavily on its prime location, which is admittedly excellent. However, for the price point, we expected a much higher level of quality and overall experience.
The staff was excellent throughout our stay, but unfortunately, that alone wasn’t enough to offset what feels like an outdated and overpriced property.
Hotel Healdsburg was a quaint little hotel in the idyllic little town of Healdsburg. The hotel itself was nice and well upkept. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were amenities including a gym, pool, and spa. We didn’t get to try the restaurant. While the hotel was nice, the price does leave something to be desired. The hotel charges premium prices comparable to what you’d pay for many upscale hotels but did not quite hit the mark. Again, it was a nice hotel but not nearly at the level of premium level hotels like Ritz or Park Hyatt. We really enjoyed our stay here but I’m not sure I’d stay again at the current price point.

The stay was Excellent first my friends and I were greeted by the Valet driver who was so kind and professional Tyre if I'm correct he helped us with our luggage to our room which was amazing all included even had the best recommendation in town if not he stated they had a concierge who would also give great recommendation we stayed around Valentines so a beautiful photo shoot was also offered. Which our course we declined as were were a group of friends . Matheson Rooftop was a great 10/10 which was recommended as well the fact everything was walking distant from Hotel was also just the top of the cherry . 10/10 recommend staying Oh also pet friendly !!
Great location, nice room!
No complaints - a lovely place to stay!
My husband and I had a lovely 2-night getaway to celebrate our anniversary at Hotel Healdsburg. It is beautiful and modern, and so conveniently located near many shops, tasting rooms and restaurants on the square. We had a wonderful Meyer Lemon massage at the hotel spa, and a delicious 3-course dinner at Dry Creek Kitchen. There is also the more casual Pizzando restaurant at the hotel, which was great, too. It is not a budget hotel, but very nice for a special getaway! Hope to return in the summer months.
Spent the best weekend of our lives at the Hotel Healdsburg! Micah and the staff at the hotel were exemplary and exceeded all of our expectations.
We have been to Hotel Healdsburg many times, but this time was particularly special.
We highly recommends a stay at the HH!
Staff was great, the location was excellent
The pillows smelled.
Spa was excellent. The pool. The bar.
Breakfast. Room was a bit far from the elevator for my wife.
A get away for my wife and I before the holidays. Also a dog friendly hotel close to shopping and restaurants
Excellent place to stay by the park walking distance to everything. The hotel provides a luxurious place to stay complete with a well appointed gym and amazing restaurant. Will make this part of our yearly tradition.
This was our second year in a row choosing Healdsburg Hotel for our holiday vacation. My partner and I love this place, the architecture, atmosphere and staff are amazing! The parking lot is small but the valets
are skilled and kind. Our complementary breakfast was also outstanding. The room was outstanding! Bed maybe the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel. And the large tub in the bathroom, my partner and I enjoyed a very relaxing soak. We will be back!
This hotel has a fantastic location and is beautifully decorated for the holidays, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end for me. I’ve never written a review like this, but the service was truly disappointing—more like a budget motel than a four-star property. The front desk made us feel like a bother rather than a guest, and no amenities were ever explained or offered.
While the style of the hotel wasn’t exactly my preference, that wasn’t the issue. Our room was adequate (although noisy due to being on the square). It was the consistently poor service that left such a negative impression and ultimately made me really dislike the hotel overall. I would not recommend it despite its great setting.
The location is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
The parking is very inconvenient. The valet is free but swamped on the weekend. The fitness center is a joke on par with a small chain hotel. The continental breakfast was mediocre. I don’t know why they cannot put out some fresh pastries not massed produced meh. American hotels always get this wrong. And no doors on the shower is annoying. Water everywhere and get get it warm in there. Looks cool but impractical.
