Hotel liegt zentral in Hollywood.
Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel hätte ich doch eine etwas besser Aussatung erwartet. Risse im Teppich, beschädigte Möbel.
1) Location: perfect for our needs as first time visitors in LA without a car. Connected to the metro, mall, restaurants, at the heart of the mainstream Hollywood atractions. Supermarket was just a few mins walk away.

3) Convenience and safety: while the streets outside can get seedy at night, the direct link to the mall and restaurants are safe enough to walk in. Proper taxi pick-up and drop-off at the lobby.
1) I booked and paid a bit of extra for the room facing the Hollywood sign but upon check in, a different room was given with an explanation that they are fully booked. Staff did not give any apology or partial refund for the premium I paid.
2) Hotel is ageing. Pool was mediocre.
3) If you're coming in at night, you'll be welcomed by the smell of alcohol from people at the bar lobby and the loud noise from people drinking. Not a very welcoming sight for a family with small children.
4) They charge a mandatory destination fee which is supposedly (on paper) of good value. But in practical sense, it'll be difficult to take advantage of it fully (or at all). People are forced to pay for what services/attractions they won't end up using.

Nothing . Horrible staff horrible location horrible amenities and dirty unhygienic it’s gross to stay there.
I also had a terrible experience with the front desk regarding my payment and billing. The hotel placed multiple duplicate authorization holds on my credit card charging three separate $200 deposit holds and duplicating my stay charge as pending transactions. This froze over $1,000 of my available funds!
When I called the front desk to resolve this, the staff member was completely unhelpful, refused to check the system properly, blamed my bank, and showed zero customer care or urgency. Totally unprofessional financial management and customer service. I would not recommend staying here.
