The air conditioning leak water on one side of the bed near the near the window the carpet was soaked, and I walked right on it. They came and put towels down, but we couldn’t get out of that side of the bed in a stink bug was crawling up the wall called the front desk and they came and got it cause I couldn’t reach it. Then when we got ready to go to bed, spider was crawling up the wall and after all of that, they gave me $25 off and that one night was on 39th wedding anniversary not the memory we will it.
Location on the way to Chicago
There facility is good. Stayed there a couple times. Pool wasn't open which was the main reason for the stay.
Pool wasn't open.
Only the breakfast and the staff work hard to be nice
I stood in the hotel for 5 days and only got room services ones, I had to accumulate my dirty towel in a corner and then place it outside my room so they can see it ; and lobby was extremely hot when weather was like about 92 and staff was sweating with the heat, also bathroom floor were dirty and air conditioner in the room was not working properly
Rude host behind the counter. He wouldnt let me warm up my lunch in the microwave. He also smelled really bad and had a very unwelcoming vibe.
Neat and clean, easy access, good breakfast and courteous staff.
Nothing to complain about
Writing this while the experience is still fresh. Upon arriving this weekend for work, I was met with unprofessional behavior from the front desk clerk. I informed her that I was staying with the company I work for, provided my first and last name along with my identification, and was told I could not check in because I am under 21.
I have been checking into Holiday Inn hotels all year under the company I work for without issue. My roommate had already checked into the room, so I only needed my room key. Despite this, she insisted my roommate had to come downstairs before she could provide me access. She also claimed she “called the room” and questioned me about my roommate’s name.
It was not until another coworker came downstairs that both myself and another coworker were finally given our room keys. Before doing so, she asked my coworker, “Do you know them?” The moment my coworker confirmed that she did, we were handed our keys.
The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile, disrespectful, and discriminatory. I did not appreciate the way we were treated and would not recommend staying here based on this experience.
Good location. Friendly staff.
Our stay was right after valentines day and there were leftover rose petals on the floor in our room as well as a large wad of hair in the corner of the shower. So cleaning crew needs to step it up for sure.
