Very nice and helpful staff, clean room, beautiful view, very comfortable bed, quiet, great location. Nice rooftop.
Nothing!
The hotel was beautifully clean and had a luxurious feel of old school charm. Rooms were spotless and well decorated, and air con was good. The maids were super helpful and so friendly. The concierge was also really helpful and gave us some great ideas of where to eat in the city. Roof top bar was a great addition. Views were spectacular, and it was a great place to cool off after a long day of walking. Cocktails were top quality. The bar staff worked so hard. Breakfast was also lovely.
We had several occasions on the roof top bar where a young member of staff either forgot our drinks or said he would return to take our order and simply didn’t. It happened so often it almost felt deliberate! But all other staff members were courteous and very helpful. It was a shame, as it spoiled the relaxed atmosphere intended.
Excellent location, beautiful room and the rooftop pool and bar are amazing
Extremely friendly staff, rooftop pool was great to cool down in and enjoy some afternoon drinks. Room very clean and the beds very comfy. My wife requested some additional soft pillows which was no issue at all. They even left me a small birthday gift.
Only criticism is the shower was almost too powerful for the small screen which led to a bit of standing water on the bathroom floor after every shower. No dramas as a couple of towels on the floor sorted it.
The location was fabulous! The staff was so personable and helpful. We will be back in a little over a week and look forward to it. We also loved the upstairs deck and pool. Gorgeous views!

Geweldige locatie, binnen 5 min lopen in hartje centrum. Kamer werd 2x per dag schoongemaakt en het dakterras is adembenemend.
Kamer was prima, maar niet adembenend wat je voor deze prijs wel verwacht. Zwembad is kleiner en ondieper dan de foto's aandoen. Wij waren wat vergeten in de auto en het was nog heel veel moeite om deze spullen te kunnen halen ivm valet.
This is such a lovely hotel and warm staff. Our rooms were not large but very comfortable. We had a nice view from the window. It's a great location if you don't want to be in the heart of everything but within walking distance of most attractions. The breakfast was excellent.
Perfekt ausgerichtetes Frühstück (super Auswahl), Lage des Hotels war ganz in der Nähe des Veranstaltungsortes (Calcio Storico) und den zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt - auf dem Fußweg alles sehr leicht zu erreichen!
Everything about our stay at Plaza Hotel Lucchesi was amazing! The Hotel was had a historic, polished, upscale feel, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The roof top was gorgeous and the cocktails were fantastic! I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Hôtel à éviter.
Nous avons été confrontés à plusieurs reprises à des changements de prix inexpliqués, aussi bien pendant notre séjour qu'au moment du départ. Concernant le room service, nous avons constaté à deux reprises une augmentation injustifiée de certains tarifs. L'hôtel s'est excusé, mais cela reste totalement inadmissible pour un établissement classé 4 étoiles.
Sans notre vigilance, nous aurions payé des montants supérieurs sans même nous en rendre compte. Les tarifs manquent de transparence : ils ne sont pas clairement affichés et tout est fait pour rendre leur vérification difficile. On a réellement l'impression qu'il existe une volonté de facturer des suppléments sans explication.
Le rapport qualité-prix est très décevant. Nous avons payé 150 € de plus par nuit pour un prétendu surclassement de chambre, mais celui-ci n'apportait pratiquement aucune différence. Avec le recul, nous regrettons totalement cette dépense.
L'emplacement de l'hôtel est correct, mais cela ne compense pas les nombreux points négatifs. La piscine est extrêmement petite, presque inutilisable pour un adulte, et convient à peine à des enfants.
Enfin, le personnel ne s'est pas montré particulièrement courtois, ce qui n'est pas à la hauteur des prestations attendues dans un hôtel de cette catégorie.
En résumé, malgré un bon emplacement, cet établissement ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles. Le manque de transparence sur les tarifs, le rapport qualité-prix décevant et le niveau de service ne nous permettent absolument pas de le recommander.
