Great location and friendly/helpful staff.
The family room layout worked well for sharing a room with an 8yo.
It was a little dated and the bed/pillow combination wasn’t great from a comfort perspective (recognise that’s a very personal perspective!)
The staff are so friendly, especially reception and concierge. The rooftop pool also had a fantastic view and is a great facility, especially on a hot day as the pool is a cooler temperature. Room was lovely and spacious. There was complimentary water in the room and also given robes and slippers. I would stay here again if I went back to Florence

This hotel was awesome. The location was exceptional. Our room had the river view, which was nice. The highlight of this hotel was the rooftop. The rooftop had some amazing views of Florence and beyond. The staff were very helpful and kind.

The hotel was beautifully clean and had a luxurious feel of old school charm. Rooms were spotless and well decorated, and air con was good. The maids were super helpful and so friendly. The concierge was also really helpful and gave us some great ideas of where to eat in the city. Roof top bar was a great addition. Views were spectacular, and it was a great place to cool off after a long day of walking. Cocktails were top quality. The bar staff worked so hard. Breakfast was also lovely.
We had several occasions on the roof top bar where a young member of staff either forgot our drinks or said he would return to take our order and simply didn’t. It happened so often it almost felt deliberate! But all other staff members were courteous and very helpful. It was a shame, as it spoiled the relaxed atmosphere intended.
