Pros:

This is such a lovely hotel and warm staff. Our rooms were not large but very comfortable. We had a nice view from the window. It's a great location if you don't want to be in the heart of everything but within walking distance of most attractions. The breakfast was excellent.

Pros:

Perfekt ausgerichtetes Frühstück (super Auswahl), Lage des Hotels war ganz in der Nähe des Veranstaltungsortes (Calcio Storico) und den zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt - auf dem Fußweg alles sehr leicht zu erreichen!

We had a memorable stay due to the beauty of the hotel, and the incredibly helpful staff.
Pros:

Everything about our stay at Plaza Hotel Lucchesi was amazing! The Hotel was had a historic, polished, upscale feel, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The roof top was gorgeous and the cocktails were fantastic! I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Nous avons été confrontés à plusieurs reprises à des changements de prix inexpliqués, aussi bien pendant notre séjour qu'au moment du départ. Concernant le room service, nous avons constaté à deux reprises une augmentation injustifiée de certains tarifs. L'hôtel s'est excusé, mais cela reste totalement inadmissible pour un établissement classé 4 étoiles.

Sans notre vigilance, nous aurions payé des montants supérieurs sans même nous en rendre compte. Les tarifs manquent de transparence : ils ne sont pas clairement affichés et tout est fait pour rendre leur vérification difficile. On a réellement l'impression qu'il existe une volonté de facturer des suppléments sans explication.

Le rapport qualité-prix est très décevant. Nous avons payé 150 € de plus par nuit pour un prétendu surclassement de chambre, mais celui-ci n'apportait pratiquement aucune différence. Avec le recul, nous regrettons totalement cette dépense.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est correct, mais cela ne compense pas les nombreux points négatifs. La piscine est extrêmement petite, presque inutilisable pour un adulte, et convient à peine à des enfants.

Enfin, le personnel ne s'est pas montré particulièrement courtois, ce qui n'est pas à la hauteur des prestations attendues dans un hôtel de cette catégorie.

En résumé, malgré un bon emplacement, cet établissement ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles. Le manque de transparence sur les tarifs, le rapport qualité-prix décevant et le niveau de service ne nous permettent absolument pas de le recommander.

Lovely stay in Florence!
Pros:

Hotel Lucchesi was a splurge for us, but well worth it! The room sizes are large compared to many European hotels. My Mom's suite with balcony was massive, with a living room and separate bedroom area. We spent many evenings on her balcony enjoying the view of the city and surrounding Tuscany hills. Service from the moment we walked in the door was exceptional! The views from the rooftop pool/bar are extraordinary. It will surly make you want to stay there forever! The pool was small but clean and perfect for the afternoon swim when everyone needed to cool off. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Cons:

Not much! Location of the hotel is right on the Arno, so an easy walk across the river to the Michelanglo Plaza. Also, a local grocery was a block down the street-great place to purchase Prosecco for cheap!

I would stay here again when in Florence. It was perfetto.
Pros:

This property was so charming! The room was beautiful and we had a gorgeous city view of the duomo and the bell tower. The staff was very attentive and so helpful.

Excellent hotel. Noisy on lower floors from rooms above but level 4 rooms quieter

Central, great rooftop views, easy to navigate around the place. Not too big. Good brekkie.

One team
Member let the whole staff down. He was an older gentleman without hair, working the rooftop bar with lovely enthusiastic young people. He was grumpy, rude and generally not nice. Everyone else in the team was absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Walter

Great service at a beautiful hotel with a rooftop bar & pool!
Pros:

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The staff and concierge are so helpful. It is wonderful to have breakfast in the hotel and lunch/dinner/bar in the hotel too. The best bonus is the rooftop bar with wonderful views. Make a reservation to have a drink at sunset here. We ate under the shaded tables for lunch and the food was really good and it wasn’t crowded. The best view of the city from the hotel roof!
