Public page does have misleading information. Hotel is not offering an exceptional breakfast. The hotel was easy to access direct off of I-40 and there were several restaurants very close. The room was good sized if a bit dated. But (almost) everything worked and was clean. The bed was firm but comfortable and the price general fit the quality.
The Booking.com site states that a "Fabulous Breakfast" is included in the room price. This is NOT TRUE. The "fabulous breakfast is only available on the weekends and on weekdays there is nothing. A "to go bag" was mentioned but not made available. Also, the in room coffee machine did not work and there was no coffee available in the lobby. So be very careful. The hotel manager says they have tried to get Booking.com to change this to no avail. Whether that is true or not I have no idea but stating a service is included in the price and then not delivering it is misleading and wrong.
It is a beautiful and unique place to stay. Excellent people working there who are very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back when we are traveling in the future!!

Breakfast wasn't being served that day as they would usually have I really was looking forward to it 😔
Our room was clean, and I noticed that the bed linens even smelled clean. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Not everyone knows how to prepare grits properly. They were perfect! Every staff member we encountered met us with a friendly smile. And the price was economical.
We had a little trouble finding it using our GPS.
Staff was helpful and knowledgeable at front desk, especially at check in.
Location is convenient arteries moving throughout NC.
Options for food and shopping within 350 meter walking distance
Gym equipment is not working and not industrial quality found at fitness centers. Read will not survive weekend warrior and vacation dads/moms using aerobic equipment. Room was never cleaned or towels changed in 3 night stay. Restaurant was closed.
Location and good breakfast
The property is old. There was a dehumidifier in my room. The bath is small. The bed was ok.
The room was clean, the pool was great and I can't say enough about the staff. Wonderful!
The breakfast was very disappointing, bagged breakfast with nothing but a fruit cup donuts and granola bars. 👎 I expected better for breakfast, the refrigerator in my room wasn't working properly.
