Lobby smelled amazing room smelled like smoke and front desk was rude when i complained. When I checked out the front desk was very apologetic and helpful
Location to the Disneyland parks - easily walkable
Very average rooms which need updating. Do not eat in the onsite restaurant - the food wasn’t great and the service took a long time. We paid extra for a partial park view room which is not worth it as you can’t see the park - the hedges are too tall and the photos on the website do not represent the view you have from the room. We had to stand in the corridor to be able to partially see the fireworks in the park.
The pool and location by House of Blue
Coffee pot in the room didn't work and they wanted $5 for a cup in the restaurant
The location
The pool
We planned a day to relax in the pool but we couldn't it was full.
It was lovely and clean. Great facilities.
So close to Disneyland and other local amenities.
Our whole family experience was a very good one. Rooms were spacious and clean. Concierge service was adequate. Parking attendant was great. I like to give a shout out to Mike parking attendant concierge overall had a great experience.
hotel was immaculate, staff are very friendly, mike especially brightened our day his smile is contagious and always very chatty the hotel should be proud to have him as a member of their staff ( which im sure they are) we would definitely stay here again in the future, keep smiling mike !!
The location to Disneyland was really nice. The pizza place right next door was open late and was nice if you wanted a quick snack on the way home from the parks. There was a lot of parking and the style of the hotel was a cute mid century retro vibe. It was cute on the grounds and in the lobby.
There was a distinct smell right when we entered the room. The rooms are small and the bathroom is SO cramped. There is good counter space but you can’t access it because you’d have to sit on the toilet. The water in the shower went scalding hot or ice cold during the entire shower no matter what I did. The shower creaked and bounced, I’m lucky we didn’t fall through the floor. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. It had stains and looked dingy and gray. There was hair in the bathroom and in the shower when we arrived and a dirty teddy bear on the floor by the bed.
Nice staff
Everything was fine.
What a darling hotel! I can't wait to go back. Everything was clean, fun, accessible and such a quick walk to the Disney parks. The staff was lovely. We had the best time! I can't wait to go back.
The only positives about the property is the location to Disneyland.
The property is old and outdated. They lobby is very nice but does not match what you see in the rooms at all. The rooms were not clean and it smelled funny. All the surfaces had sticky stuff and stains and had not been wiped down. There were little hairs all over the bathroom floors and my guess on the carpet too, didn’t want to look too close. There was a hole in the wall next to one of the beds that was oddly patched up. The room was dusty and not up to standards. Needless to stay we didn’t even stay the night and had to book another hotel in the area. We checked in at 4 put our bags in the room, when to the parks for a bit, which is when we decided we were comfortable with having our little stay. Still waiting on the property to see if we can get any type of refund since we didn’t even stay the night. They basically said it wasn’t their problem since we booked through booking.com but booking.com is having us reach out to them. Lost if back and forth which is very frustrating.
We had a great visit. The hotel is in a great location. We swam at the pool several times this visit, it's close enough to go back to the hotel for a break and a swim, they have a nice big pool. I recommend requesting a room with the refurbished bathroom, it makes a big difference!
I am not the one to write reviews, but this place definitely deserves one. I recently stayed there with my family and was surprisingly impressed with the room, the grounds, and especially the staff.
We booked a room with two king beds and these are probably the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed in around the parks. The room is spacious and clean, not to mention a double vanity for families with multiple girls getting ready at the same time!! It is the only hotel I’ve stayed in that has a bathroom fan which is a huge plus to me. Located across the parks is a huge advantage! You can see guardians of the galaxy from the front of the hotel.
The layout of the property is adorable and like an oasis with yard games, a nice pool, and it makes for an inviting atmosphere.
Most importantly, the staff members treated us like we were family, especially Sam and Leo. They provide the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back time and time again to visit them. We had an unexpected incident that extended our trip longer (through our own doing), and Sam was able to make arrangements to accommodate us on such short notice. His customer service helped turn a negative, stressful experience into a positive one.
The search has ended! We now know where we’ll be staying every time we come to Disneyland. We can’t wait to see them all on our next trip in October!!
The Anaheim Hotel has truly become our home away from home. We love the unbeatable location—just steps from the Disneyland gates—but it’s the people and atmosphere that keep us coming back.
The mid-century Palm Springs vibe is perfection, from the cozy rooms and retro pool to the rooftop fireworks views, delicious food and drinks, and incredible weekend DJs.
But the heart of this hotel is Leo. Every visit, he remembers us and welcomes us like old friends. His energy is contagious, his personality is larger than life, and he somehow seems to be everywhere at once—greeting guests, helping families, making kids smile, supporting the staff, and making sure everyone is having an amazing time. He goes above and beyond without ever being asked, and his cheerful “Happy Disney Day King and Queen!” has become one of our favorite traditions. Leo doesn’t just work here—he creates the magic that makes this hotel feel like home.
This trip, Kristopher and Candy made our stay even more memorable by taking such great care of us at the pool and making sure we were comfortable and having a wonderful time.
We can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The Anaheim Hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s part of our Disney tradition, and thanks to people like Leo, Kristopher, and Candy, we already can’t wait to come back.
