Hôtel Vendôme

J'ai réservé une chambre un peu plus grande que la chambre standard, j'ai eu l'impression que l'on m'a donné une chambre standard quand même.
La chambre était très bruyante, j'ai mal dormi, ai été réveillée tard le soir et tôt le matin.
Le petit déjeuné, très bon, est proposé dans une toute petite pièce surchauffée, ça gâche ce moment.
J'avais mit dans les philtres absolument un parking et quand je suis arrivée, il n'y avait pas de place. J'ai dû aller mettre la voiture dans un parking de la ville.
Je trouve que le prix est disproportionné.
Pour 2 jours :
400€ pour une toute petite chambre, pas une savonnette ou un petit produit de bienvenue. J'ai payé 50 € de parking ! 30 € de petit déjeuné.
Total : 480 € pour mal dormir.

We waren erg laat ingecheckt en zouden eigenlijk alleen maar in het hotel overnachten. Toen we in onze kamer kwamen en direct wilden gaan slapen, zagen we helaas overal haren op en zelfs onder de lakens. We hebben dit meteen gemeld bij de receptie. De medewerker in de lobby kwam vervolgens met een nieuw dekbed, maar uiteindelijk moesten we op dat late tijdstip zelf ons bed opnieuw opmaken.
Voor ons was dit erg teleurstellend, zeker omdat we na een lange reis alleen maar wilden slapen

One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The location was inconvenient, there is practically no hotel parking, and the available public parking is far from the property. The building is extremely old, and the room and facilities felt very dated and poorly maintained.

Most seriously, the floor underneath the carpet was unstable and physically moved under our feet throughout different areas of the room, with constant abnormal cracking and creaking noises. I recorded this on video because it raised a genuine safety concern.

We also experienced problems with the electricity, excessive noise, old and unsatisfactory towels, and almost no basic hotel amenities — no slippers, bathrobes, toothbrush or other basic items expected from hotel accommodation.

The staff experience made matters worse. We were charged an additional €150 just to enter the room around three hours early, after being told the room was not available, although it appeared to already be vacant. I found the communication regarding this extremely misleading and the charge completely unreasonable.

Overall, the property was completely different from what I expected from accommodation presented as a 3-star hotel. Between the condition of the building and room, lack of facilities, noise, parking situation, electrical issues and especially the unstable flooring, I did not feel comfortable or safe staying there.

The air conditioning was pre-set — the thermostat did nothing beyond on/off. When we said the room was too hot, staff held a hand to the vent and told us it was working. Booking.com asked for photographic proof of the temperature, which isn't something you can photograph. The hotel offered a different room, then noted they were sold out that night. The next day they offered a one-bed room, though they knew there were two of us.

Breakfast included rectangular eggs, white with green discoloration, apparently baked. I skipped them. At 15 euros per person, it's only worth it if you want a coffee and a croissant.

Overall, the responses felt procedural — enough to satisfy Booking.com's requirements without actually fixing anything. Not somewhere I want to go back to.

Expensive for a "good" level of hotel.

С нас до заезда сняли в за месяц до заезда 448 и за неделю до заезда 448 евро. Всего 896 евро бронь за 2 суток. При заселении в отеле на ресепшн
с нас взяли снова за все проживание за 3 ночи. 896 евро (бронь) сказали вернутся в течение 2 рабочих дней. Мы прожили в отеле 3 суток деньги не пришли. Прошла неделя как мы съехали из отеля, но деньги так и не вернулись. Не знаем в чем причина.
