We really didn't like anything about this hotel. It used to be nice years ago but I don't think they will be able to stay in business with how it's going now.
This experience was honestly the worst we have ever had at a hotel. The hotel smells like Marajuana and the elevators are terrible. This used to be a nice hotel but it just isn't at all now. We went to the restaurant and the person at the desk did not know English and you couldn't order from the menu. Your only choice was a buffet. The food was run out and we couldn't even find anyone to get food replenished. The food wasn't good and they charged us $60 for 2 people. That buffet wasn't even worth $10 a person. The ice machines were not working throughout the hotel. I have never seen anything like this! It cost us $300 with the hotel and buffet and I feel really ripped off.
the room was not expensive good value, and it also included breakfast. many options were available.
the main elevator was not working and used the service elevator was a bit of a journey to get ice.
The room was clean and comfortable. Large lobby. Easy access to pool. Pool was warm.
check in was late. Room didnt have the couch and microwave that it was supposed to.
The room had ants, it was not prepared for our request check-in time and we had to wait several hours to get the room and staff was very rude to us. As well as at the breakfast was very horrible.
I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North in Room 554 while attending and vending at the COREE Expo, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing.
The bathtub would not drain properly, so I had to shower standing in several inches of water. The toilet ran continuously all night to the point I had to manually turn the water off at the wall just to sleep. The bedside lamp flickered on and off like a light show while making a loud buzzing noise, which made resting difficult.
I was also given a room with a pull-out couch and told housekeeping would bring sheets for the bed. The sheets never arrived.
What frustrated me most was not just the room conditions, but the lack of follow through afterward. When I checked out, I expressed my concerns to the front desk and was told a manager would call me that same day. No one ever called. I followed up via email, provided my folio number, detailed documentation, and even shared video evidence of the issues. Still, no response from management.
I travel frequently for business and understand that occasional maintenance issues can happen. However, communication, accountability, and customer service matter. The complete lack of response after multiple documented concerns was unacceptable.
Video receipts in hand.
I truly hope management takes guest concerns more seriously moving forward.
We were told on the phone that we were reserving 2 rooms side by side that had the door in the middle connecting them but when we got there they checked us in even after me asking if that was what we were getting. We got our keys, got up to the 6th floor, then saw the rooms were across the hall from each other. When we brought this up to the managers at the desk area we were told that they don't know why we were told they had rooms like that available, but if I gave them 30 mins they would see what they could do . So after driving over 4hrs to the hotel from PA I got to stand there for 30 minutes after driving around for an additional 30 minutes just to cancel my rooms and wait for refunds. Then had to take my 4, 6, and 15yr old kids to another hotel almost 20 minutes away(it wound up being so much nicer! & Cheaper!). Still waiting for my refund.

We checked in on a friday night for a 2 night stay. Both of the elevators were out of service the entire weekend. Our room was on the 9th floor and when we checked in no one told us the elevators weren't working. The price of the stay included breakfast. When we came down over half of the items for breakfast were missing. The fruit that they did have was bruised and/ or just barely edible. Then Our toilet was clogged in our room. We let the front desk know Saturday morning. When we got back to our room at 1 pm the toilet was still clogged. I went down the nine flights of stairs to speak to the manager to ask for a new room. Christopher the manager refused. He didnt apologize or offer any discount just stared at me like I was a fool for asking. They finally sent someone at 2 but he was not able to clear the clog and we had to get ready to leave. I called booking.com to see about a refund or a partial credit. The hotel refused again and booking offered us $11 and change for the inconvenience. This looks like it was once a nice hotel that has suffered under poor management.
We were transferred here after our chosen hotel was overbooked. Based on multiple negative reviews, we never would have picked this hotel.
Pros: Comfy beds, the AC worked well, the fridge worked well, and the TV and lamps were fine. An employee named David saved me when multiple ice machines weren’t working and I’d already drug my cooler down 4 flights of stairs based on an incorrect sign.
Cons: At check in, only 1 person was doing anything so a long line formed while another person seemed “busy” with paperwork. The elevators were down so the entire hotel shared a service elevator with the employees and their carts. I’m short and thought the shower head was way too low, the bathtub was really slick, and the bathroom was ridiculously small with a rusted light and patched ceiling that looked like pieces were trying to fall. The ice machine on 6 was out of order, but the sign said I could get ice on 2 or 8. The one on 2 wasn’t working either but had no sign saying that. The washer and dryer on 2 were out of order, as well. This place clearly needs a lot of repairs or a total overhaul.
It was okay
It was ok
The property was located conveniently close to the major highways in the area making it easy to get to Nationwide arena.
The photos from booking show the property has a hot tub. The hot tub has been filled in and the pool was not open during our stay. The dinner and breakfast buffet were sub par at best and empty. Our room was “clean” but items in the room were destroyed. You could see daylight around the room hvac unit. The staff take forever to check you in, and when the damages were reported to staff they were unhelpful and blew it off.
It was quiet
So first I booked a 2 bed king and upon arrival I get told I don’t have a reservation as I was showing him, could never find any hotel staff for shampoo towels etc, shower would flood with water from the steam due to which could be very dangerous and that’s only part of it and also the toilet was constantly draining making it almost impossible to sleep . I kept having to get up of a night and adjust the plunger in the back of the toilet . So I would highly not recommend this place to anyone
One of the worst experiences ever.Every time we left the room ,had to go down 9 floors and get key reprogrammed.Water was a steady drip in the bathroom.Electrical plug fell off wall and plug was burnt black.
