We had a serious issue at check-in — the front desk had no record of our confirmed reservation, and we had to wait about an hour in the lobby with three tired children while staff resolved it with Booking.com. During that wait, other guests were offered complimentary water, but we were not. Later, when we asked for drinking water in our room, the front desk initially agreed but then refused when we came down, insisting we pay $4 per bottle instead. Additionally, the breakfast pricing in our confirmation ($10 per person per night) did not match what staff told us on-site — they said there was no fixed price and we’d need to order à la carte.

Clean rooms
The pool was closed Monday- wednesday which was half the time we was there and the main reason we booked this hotel it used to be open everyday time to find a new hotel not worth the price you pay for a hotel with a pool viruses no pool
The room and beds were comfortable.
The pool had limited hours of operation. Wish it could have been open on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Excellent place. Everything over the top.
None
I did like the area, it was close to shopping, theater and dining.
I hated paying for parking, whenever I stay at a hotel...I fill so scammed when they ask for us to pay for parking especially when it was built over 20 years ago and has not had any reservations for almost 10 years. Please stop charging customers for parking, its giving scam likely! Newer building, I get it. Plus, the rooms smelt damp, and all the lining had stains on it. All the pillows had stains, and it just was not a very comfortable stay. Also, the pool was closed, and I was expecting to relax and was extremely disappointed. Also, there was no continental breakfast! Courtyard Marriott in Springfield VA, do better.
The front desk girl was nice and well coming
The bathroom was not old the room carpet was very old as well
It was just ok
Pot holes not hot because they put to much chlorine in it, no tv untill we you left smoke detector going off fire alarms going off firetruck came no one told us what was happening no phone to call the front desk are door did not lock right and alls they can say sorry
Bed, cleanliness of room
Breakfast missed items I ordered like Kale. I requested quinoa but got rice and quinoa instead.
I was interested in a day pass but hotel doesn't have those available so got a night and extended checkout
The staff were welcoming, friendly and respectful. Also, the hotel was clean.
The hotel had power issues during my stay, which made the elevators out of service, and we were on the fourth floor. The lights flickered on and off all night as well. This was out of their control. However, my toilet wouldn’t flush, we had to use the bathroom in the lobby, and our room had no hot water. I was kind of shocked, especially for a Marriott. I wouldn’t stay again.
It was close to many restaurants and stores. And only a 13 minute drive into DC.
The staff are not the friendliest. When we arrived at 2:43 pm, after a long 6 and half hour drive, the manager looks at his clock on his computer and tells us that we are 17 minutes early for check in. He was a little snarky and I thought that was rude. The first night stay was okay. The room is very small. The king bed was decent, but the pullout couch is odd. It is small and curved and pulls out to a single sleeper. You are not fitting 2 small kids on it. One perk was that the mirror and sink area was outside of the bathroom, so someone could use the toilet or shower in private while someone was getting ready. Lighting is very poor. The toilet ran and was so loud. The second night was awful. We got back to our room around 4:30 after a long hot day in DC. Our room lost half power, which was the air condition and the TV. The maintenance guy was speaking with the power company on and off, as half the hotel lost power. It was not a transformer near by that affected other businesses. It was strictly a hotel issue. We did not get air back in our room until 10:30 at night. It was about 85 degrees in our room and 90 degrees outside. It was awful and the front desk were avoiding guests. It was not a pleasant stay and I would suggest booking any where else. Oh...and they dont tell you this in advance, but you will be charged $15 a night for parking in their lot. It is a small, unkempt lot with a ton of potholes and it is not closed in. I dont understand the fee to park when you already pay so much for the room.
It was clean
The power went out during our stay so the tv did not work. The elevator did not work either. No one came to our room once during our stay. I also tried to use the phone in the room to call the front desk and it was not connected. Very disappointed with this stay.
Close to DC
The staff was rude throughout our stay and even more so when the power went out on the second day for 7 hours. We had no air conditioning, lights, tv. It was a hotel issue and not a surrounding transformer issue as we ventured out for dinner and everything for miles had power just not the hotel. When asking the front desk to refund a partial night stay they were rude and would not do it. Unacceptable.
The location
The A/C didn’t properly cool down the room or the building it was hot the entire time, the pool has WAY too much chlorine in it, the elevators are old and about to break down, toilet was already clogged when we got there, no microwave in the room.
