Service and food.
Nothing really
Very central
My room was next door to reception, a lot of loud noise in reception late at night.
The hotel was conveniently located. We enjoyed having the ability to take morning walks along the river. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Although the breakfast buffet served the same food each day, I appreciated the alternative to order off the menu at no additional cost.
The front desk staff were cordial. However, we made numerous attempts to call the front desk, but not once did someone pick up the phone. As a result, we were required to walk down to the front desk to request items to be delivered to our room.
Great breakfast and service
Carpet in hallways should be cleaned more frequently
Very comfortable, ample parking and very well appointed for visiting the sights in Cork and beyond. Lee river walk just on the hotel doorstep
Genuinely nothing
Beautiful on first impression
All ok
Cleaness and comfort . Breakfast was fab
A bit expensive
The staff was friendly and welcoming the room was very spacious I loved that their was a bath and shower with toiletries fresh drinking water stations beautiful views of the river Lee while enjoying breakfast the heath suit was lovely and relaxing , a lot of choice of food breakfast was a 10/10 close to the city centre I would definitely recommend
Every member of staff was beyond friendly, helpful, efficient and kind. I arrived with some kind of bug and felt absolutely appalling. My room happened to be ready early, and I was beyond grateful for it. The bathroom was palatial, the room equipped with all my needs. I don't understand why English hotels do not have water coolers available - it strikes me this is both more eco-friendly and cost efficient (while representing a relatively small loss in revenue from bottled water).
I used both the pool and spa facilities. I had about the best massage I have ever had, and the most holistically top-notch service from both the highly qualified, warm and friendly masseuse and the broader reception and pool team. I could navigate the spaces easily without feeling too awkward as a lone-guest.
Breakfast offered massive variety and wonderful service. I did wonder if it might free up some staff time if coffee and tea was also self-service but I understood the personal touch this represented so not a criticism. The wonderful staff at "the riverside" were beyond friendly and welcoming. Room service was prompt and, while not cheap (this is not a cheap hotel) was served to the same high quality and attention to detail as dining in the restaurant. I also ate there and the food was both masterfully prepared and beautifully presented.
Hotel carpet need deep cleaning. Bathroom not have exhaust fan, shower tiles are dirty, and tub drain does not hold water for a bath.
The hot spa pool was great and the restaurant meals were very good too
Nothing
