На ресепшене очень злая дама проорала нам «ждите» на вопрос про электрокар. Остальные сотрудники ресепшена были очень доброжелательными.
В номере было грязновато, на нас троих был один использованный гель для душа. Фен как будто из помойки, даже страшно брать в руки. Просили тапочки для ребенка- не принесли. Просили воду- забывали, мы напоминали по несколько раз . Завтраки очень посредственные.
Staff is super nice, with zebras, antilope and giraffes roaming around the property. Breakfast is rich with a lot of variety. Beds and pillows comfortable, the shower is hot with good pressure.
Super cold at night! The heating system did not work at all, it was just loud. During the night the temperatures drop significantly (5-10 degrees). Dinner is only outdoor so we already go back to the room cold. The room’s floor is concrete and you can feel near the windows how the cold also comes from there as there is no isolation. The heating system does not have a temperature setup just 3 levels of intensity and even if it was working all night, the room did not heat up.
Loved the hotel! The staff really helped alot and made moving through the borders super easy. We had to get up very early one morning for a safari and they packed us breakfast which was so nice. The access to the Zambian side of the falls was also amazing. 10/10. Loved that it was also on the same property as the Royal Livingstone so you really had your pick of restaurants and activities.
The restaurant service was a bit slow.
Incredibly unique and luxurious hotel in Livingstone right next to the falls. We stayed with our young children who were thrilled with the giraffe and zebras that roamed the hotel grounds. It was a wonderful experience. The location is incredible.
Simply awesome! Giraffes greeted us as we checked in! Zebras greeted us as we went down to breakfast. Monkeys entertained us while we ate breakfast, causing mischief! Walk to the falls! Arranged safari! Amazing breakfast buffet!
The price.
Avani Victoria Falls Resort is a beautiful facility steps away from the Falls. Our room was clean and comfortable overlooking the pool and garden area with zebras and giraffes lazily wandering the grounds. There was very little noise heard from inside our room. Although spa services are offered, they require going to the neighboring property. We chose not to partake.
The service at the restaurant is slow. The room is that of a 3 star hotel. They had an outdoor event that kept playing really loud music with heavy bass until middle of the night and hotel management would not do anything. Stay away!
The hotel was so close (within walking distance) to the Victoria Falls. Upon arrival there was a warm traditional greeting. The receptionist staff were very welcoming. Everyone made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. It was wonderful to see Zebra, roaming the grounds. The food was delicious. There was a good variety at breakfast. I had a great time staying here and highly recommend it.
I can't think of anything I did not like.
dining at Shungu Restaurant at Avani was amazing. Watching zebras graze while enjoying a meal was such a beautiful experience. The food was great, the music was lovely, and everything felt perfect. The staff were also friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Very good experience with friendly people
Had a wonderful time at Avani. The atmosphere, hospitality, and overall experience were excellent, and the staff truly made us feel welcome.
My only critique is with the digital amenities. The mobile app proved unreliable during our stay—an order for dinner took over an hour with no status updates, and we eventually had to walk to the restaurant to find out the app manager wasn't available. We ran into similar issues with the buggy requests. Additionally room phone shortcuts and the TV system didn't have clear instructions or functioning auto dials for assistance.
Despite these technical hiccups, the physical service, the beautiful location, and the warmth of the team won us over. We will stay here again, we’ll just skip the app next time and speak directly to the team!
It was an Awesome time to recharge and connect with nature and self. The ambience was magnificent and the staff are so welcoming. really enjoyed my short stay

Old infrastructure
Amazing property, renovated rooms and well positions right at the falls. Next door to the Royal Livingstone hotel which makes it easier to move around between the 2 for change in restaurant and ambiance. The 2 hotels also share shuttle services etc.
The main areas and main restaurant need some maintain and cleaning, restaurant needs new cutlery and crockery, some chairs need to be replaced as they are serious warn out.
Avani is in a nice location and is neatly maintained. I enjoyed my wildlife around the resort and I could easily access the Victoria Falls, which was amazing
Avani Victoria Falls Resort didn't disappoint as I stayed here 12 years ago and it is still an amazing place to stay as the Victoria Falls is right behind the resort and you can go there as many times as you like for free staying at this place where as on the Zimbabwe side you have to pay and can only go once. Loved the zebras just wondering about the resort. Rooms are clean and bright, breakfast plenty to choose from and very friendly staff we all loved our stay.
Avani at Victoria Falls was such an enjoyable stay. If you have kids the pool is especially so much fun. The whole place is beautiful and kept well. The staff were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the hamburger that Albert made. The breakfast was delicious-perhaps the best you can find in Zambia.
