This hotel is Wonderful! To live in the Middle Ages, in such luxury, purity and sophistication is Happiness! The staff is just wonderful! Everything is at the highest and most dignified level! The hotel provided a high standard of accommodation and the overal feeling was splendid. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Piazza del Campo. Although the property is situated within a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), the staff provides clear guidance on vehicle access and operates an efficient valet parking service.
The family room was well-appointed and suitable for our needs. A notable feature for families is the VIK (Very Important Kids) program, which includes practical welcome amenities for children. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and a readiness to assist.
The breakfast service offered a comprehensive selection of high-quality items. The operational standard during breakfast, notably managed by Massimo (thank you!), was remarkable and ensured a seamless experience. Furthermore, the property features a dedicated wine room with a well-curated inventory.

Super impressed with this hotel and staff! We were met outside with umbrellas as it was raining. Super friendly staff. Elena helped me contact a doctor's office our first morning as my husband was ill. They also arranged a taxi to get him to the doctor's office. In addition, my granddaughter and I were able to quickly move to another room. Location was great, rooms clean and beautiful, but mostly it was the professional and courteousness of the staff that stood out. We will highly recommend and will be definitely be back!

The room didnt look anything like the advert at all ! 802 Euros for 1 nite was ridiculous !!! We had a family emergency and tried to cancel the booking and it was not allowed - so we had to keep the booking - no view - a small room compared to other venues we stayed in
What a fantastic hotel this is, beautiful things to look at everywhere. There is a lovely quietness about the hotel, it's very peaceful once you enter. We had a deluxe room overlooking the City which was amazing. We had to tear ourselves away from the view from our window and watching the hundreds of swallows flying by. The breakfast is fantastic, and we also ate in the restaurant. Best meal of our trip to Tuscany, and we wished we had eaten there every night!We had the tasting menu which was incredible value and totally delicious. The Chef is so talented. All the staff at the hotel are wonderful - professional, friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble, and they very quickly made us feel that we were at home. I have to give a special mention to Massimo - the Maitre D of the restaurant who seems to always be there! He is the must delightful person you could wish to meet, we looked forward to seeing him every morning and evening. He obviously is very proud of the work they do, and he runs an incredibly organised ship. He is so knowledgable about both wine and food, and is always friendly without being overbearing. Thanks to Masimmo and all the staff for giving us such a memorable stay.
