AmericInn Madison South seemed like a poor value proposition.
Pros:

Location was convenient for destination event. Building seemed reasonably well maintained.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor, only coffee available was from a dispenser not brewed. No reasonably healthy options. Bathroom was cramped and seemed flimsy (shower flexed when entering, etc.). Refrigerator in room was very loud. People in other room reported high pitched whistle from plumbing presumably.

Pros:

Clean, smelled good, convenient location, nice pool and hot tub, great shower, staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

The coffee could be better and the he ceilings are unusually low in the hallway/rooms but that would be hard to fix I suppose :)

very nice
Pros:

The double shades in the windows completely blocked out any light coming in. Made the room very dark-great for sleeping without being woken up by light from the windows

Cons:

Overall great hotel!
Pros:

Room was huge, not noisy even though right by the lobby, bed decently comfy, hot tub filled quickly, friendly staff

Cons:

No comforter for bed, I was freezing with just a sheet and blanket. Pool was a tad chilly for me.
