Amazing breakfast and superb location
Pros:

Fantastic location in the heart of the old city

Cons:

Unfortunately road works on the neighbouring road marred our stay but this is clearly beyond the control of the owners

Fun place to stay
Pros:

I thought this place was good and close to all kinds of shops , including a wash and fold laundromat. It is located right on the Royal Mile. The pub downstairs is very convenient. Thanks goodness they will carry your luggage up all the stairs since there is no lift. Sliding my luggage down the stairs was easy enough. Food in the restaurant there is excellent. Live music is played at about 9pm. Not traditional Scottish music but it’s quite nice.

Cons:

Some late night drunk was yelling at 4am and it woke me up.

Hotel charmant au cœur de la vielle ville
Pros:

L’emplacement est idéal , au cœur de la vielle ville(sur l’artère principale)
La literie est très confortable.
Pas de bruit malgré sa situation géographique
L’authenticité du bâtiment confère un charme certain à cet hôtel

Cons:

La chambre est petite mais tout de même dotée de tout l’essentiel.
Le petit déjeuner est à la carte , on aime ou pas …

Pros:

De goede locatie is het beste aan deze plek.

Cons:

Verder viel eigenlijk alles tegen maar met name de hygiëne. De toiletten in de pub (naast de keuken) zijn heel erg vies en oud. De kamer was niet goed schoon, overal haren en echt overal balen stof. Viezigheid tussen de toiletbril.
De trappen naar kamer 8 zijn echt teveel als je vervolgens in een stoffig klein hok terecht komt waar geen raam open kan.

Management should seriously consider a revision in general organisation and staff admitting.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, and the staff that served us were nice. Overall the room was nice, but could use a bit of a spring cleaning.

Cons:

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a very rude and unprofessional blonde young woman. In many years staying in hotels all over, this was the worse interaction I've experienced with a member of staff!

Great value for money, amazing location and room - will be back!

Everything really - great room and facilities, amazing and central location + superb breakfast and in house restaurant
