Awesome location. Was perfectly satisfactory for a weekend in the city.
Pros:

Location location! Love the big windows with great views. Very basic but had everything we needed for a weekend stay.

Cons:

The blanket situation on the fold out and rollaway bed wasn’t great and we got a bit cold. Was initially just made up with sheets and there were only some thin polyester blankets in the cupboard. When we went to reception for this we were given one more of these blankets and a ?mattress protector.

Great spot for vivid
Pros:

The location is great. Staff were lovely. The room was good value. A little tied but well priced and very very clean. All you need for self catering. We were there over Vivid so it was very busy and noisy outside - be prepared for that this is normal glass on a busy corner, urban white noise! Location for Vivid events was perfect. 5 min walk to a light rail station made that the easiest way to get around to circular key or the otherway off to central or QVB. The walkover to Darling Harbour right opposite is a huge plus.

Amazing View very friendly team
Pros:

Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was spotless, beautifully presented, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed. Great location, amazing atmosphere, and excellent service throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The worst customer experience
Pros:

This is hands down one of the WORST hotels I’ve come across. The hotel staff is insensitive, rude and not to mention: sometimes distracted in the back room talking with each other even if guests/people are waiting. I had an issue with my key card not working to enter the building and they refused to help (I asked them to call their manager to escalate and they said they wouldn’t bc “he had left for the day”). Am I supposed to just sleep outside? They don’t care one bit. Insane amount of disrespect from multiple staff members I’ve engaged with for being in customer service/ hospitality and I would highly discourage you from staying here.

Not to mention if you’re a light sleeper, it’s right at the corner of a very loud block where bars and people are walking / cards driving at all hours of the night.

Incredible Service! A No-Brainer for Sydney Stays
Pros:

The location, staff and room were all amazing. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I will be back. It is relatively close to everything, I found some amazing hidden gems for food, drinks, and its very close to barangaroo and darling harbour

Pros:

Great place for a family and has great value for money! The location is great if you are looking for a place close to Darling Harbor. The staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend Metro Apartments.

Great value
Pros:

Great location and excellent value for apartment in the city. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Older style apartment, it is fairly comfortable and very clean, although a bit noisy from traffic and bar across the road.

Excellent location and staff but apartment needs upgrading.
Pros:

Great location in Darling Harbour. The staff were very helpful and professional. The apartment layout was pretty good, with the loft etc and nice big windows. Kitchen provisions were more than adequate.

Cons:

The apartment was dated and run down. The bathroom needs updating. An extra toilet is needed for the downstairs guest who currently has to go up to the loft to use the bathroom. Double glazed windows should be installed as the street noise was still quite prominant. Balcony could be bigger. The blinds were not easy to open and, at one point, the weak, flimsy "chain" we used to open and close the blinds, broke and we had to ask to get it fixed. There needs to be a more substantive storage draw upstairs in the loft. Currently there is a "cage" type of set of "draws".

Cons:

They have a policy that requires any guest/visitor to “register” aka show ID and sign their name (photo attached). Even if it’s a 10 minute visit in your room. Incredibly annoying and did not state it before I arrived at the property. Room feels outdated. 1/3 of the lights didn’t work. Lamp shades crooked, plastic plants felt awkwardly placed around room. No tea towels. Cleaning staff let them selves in without me requesting cleaning. Elevators are slow. Signs on the back of the door made me feel uneasy about leaving the room. It suggested putting the nonexistent door chain on (photos attached). For the price payed I expected more.
