Very enjoyable except for the heat in the room which kept us awake at night.
Pros:

Very accommodating staff.

Cons:

The room was far too warm with no way of adjusting heating apart from a free standing fan.

Viel zu teuer für ein sehr kleines und lautes Zimmer.
Pros:

Sehr kleines Bett. Beim umdrehen lag man an der Wand.

Cons:

Man konnte die Fenster nicht öffnen. Für den Preis eine absolute Abstellkammer. Man musste den Nachbarn beim TV schauen zuhören. Das Personal hat meistens nicht reagiert, wenn man es gegrüßt hat.

Good stay but the room location and the lift malfunction took away some of the joy
Pros:

Close to the Inverness Castle, Ness River, Tesco, pubs and a few minutes away from the Town Centre. It is a good location if you are taking any of the Scotland tours originating at Inverness (eg Rabbie's NC500) or for visiting the churches/ cathedrals

Cons:

The room was on the rear side of the building and had only rooftop views. The lift (elevator) leading to the room was malfunctioning off and on. It was difficult to time one's schedule to the vagaries of the lift although, thankfully enough, I did not have to walk up four storeys

Very good location - wish their room offerings could be consistent
Pros:

The room was facing the River Ness and the large windows allowed one to see not just the river but also the Castle on the other side of the river. The room was spacious and had all the normal facilities of a traditional (older building) hotel

Cons:

The lift (elevator) was small and slow.

Poor Sleep
Pros:

Stayed at the Inverness Palace for one night during a business trip up North. The reception and bar area are beautiful and there is a lovely swimming pool and well appointed gym. Unfortunately the sleep quality let the stay down. The room was directly above the bar so the sound from below was quite loud. When that eventually died down the sound of the reception Muzak could be clearly heard instead! This continued all night obviously.

There was also an issue in the bathroom when I arrived which the staff sorted out quickly then left some complimentary drinks so top marks for that.
