Pros:

1- the receptionist that checked me in was great
2-the room and bathroom were large enough and well appointed

Cons:

1- the furniture in the common area look cheap and worn out
2- the breakfast service is not well organized
3- the breakfast food is very basic and the buffet is not very appealing

Beautifully clean great location only spoke to staff for check in and check out snd breakfast all very helpful and cheery our room was ready for 1 o'clock which was great.

Convenient, quiet and comfort in a fun part of town.
Pros:

The room was spacious and clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and eager to please. The breakfast was great! Also, the location of the hotel was right in the middle of the grass market, close to the castle and the Royal Mile.

Cons:

Expensive like everything in Edinburgh.
