Pros:

Loved air con great swimming pool all the staff were welcoming!

Cons:

QR codes ordering at tables awful gave up and ordered at the bar much easier and could explain easily about what we didn’t want because of allergies ! Bar staff were great !

One of the absolute highlights of this hotel is the incredible leisure facilities. The gym is massive and better equipped than most commercial health clubs, and the indoor swimming pool and hot tub were the perfect way❤️❤️❤️

Jodie - The best!
Pros:

Was working in the area, got a day pass for the gym, Jodie on reception was very helpful and friendly, could have just stayed chatting to her actually! Very welcoming and knowledgeable. Had my lunch in the bar after, was very good 😋

Great Hotel

Our stay at Village Hotel exceeded all our expectations! The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and featured a splendid view. We especially loved the [amenity, e.g., breakfast spread / pool / spa] and the location, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return during my next visit!"

Great location
Pros:

An exceptional stay! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of fresh options. Highly recommend!"

Poor customer service from two staff.

1 - Lady on the gym kiosk. Husband bought a drink from there as we were checking out and she didn't even acknowledge him. Just scanned the drink and said the price. No hello, no thank you.

2 - On checking out I advised that we had been woken up by loud music at 6am. Lady just said "that's weird!" No sorry, no offer to give feedback to management.

We felt that these encounters reduced our satisfaction. It seemed neither of them wanted to be there and they made it obvious.

Lovely staff who couldn't do enough!

Dave made sure our family could get use of the pool one night after our day of legoland which was very nice of him.

Nice, very modern hotel.
Pros:

Room service was good, room was clean, bed comfortable and shower was nice.

Cons:

We would have liked some different tea options and the TV/wifi were rather slow. Streaming was accessible but not actually very good because the internet connection could not keep up.

Poor quality sleep makes this a bad choice
Pros:

Clean hotel. Beds a decent size. No parking issues.

Cons:

Fire alarm went off at approximately 10pm on 3 of the 4 nights we were there, waking our 2 children. Anyone who has young kids knows it is very difficult to get them back to sleep when they are suddenly woken. When I brought this up with management, their response was very disappointing. After each night we got a different reason, suggesting they were going through the motions with us and had not really been dealing with the issue. On one occasion they suggested my complaint wasn't legitimate; I was told that the alarm had only rung for a short while (clearly I was being unreasonable for having had my children woken up and raising it!). Will not stay again - I prefer hotels where you get to sleep.

Poor service
Pros:

Booked a club room to be able to use the pool during the heatwave. Also paid £15 extra for early check in from 1pm.

Room was not ready until 130pm meaning we had to sit in the foyer waiting and when we tried to go to the pool we were told it was closed because it was too hot and we could go and pay to use coral reef, the kids water park nearby. We were not told of the when booking, nor when we checked in. When we told them we only booked the club room for the pool access they just said 'sorry', no offer of reimbursing us etc as they were not providing what was paid for.

So we paid extra for a club room when we couldn't use the benefits, paid extra for early check in which we didn't get, and have had no refund or even a response to our email complaint.

This is the second disappointing experience at this hotel which both times have been compounded by a lacklustre and uncaring response from management.

Fin morgen buffet

Cons:

De havde givet os to værelser som lå i hver sin ende af hotellet. Brand alarmen gik hver dag, den ene dag gik den tre gange på en dag. Gangene var så smalle at vores datter i kørestol havde svært ved at passere rengørings vognene. Og så stod der hele tiden brugt service og tomme flasker ude på gangen, foran værelserne.
