Not worth the money
Pros:

Gardens were nice. Staff were great.
Just weirdly setup resort.

Cons:

Not worth it.
Setup of the place. Was like a maze.
No bar service on the beach front…had to walk all the way back just to order food or a drink.
Rooms were very basic. Tv didn’t work.
But the wifi was the worst I’ve witnessed

The most enjoyable stay for me and my family. The interconnecting rooms were amazing. We were so happy with our location

Honestly, everything! Even more, front of house/ reception were always warm, welcoming and helpful. We love the team here.

Great place for families. Will defs stay again.

Loved all the activities and programs available. Great spot for snorkelling and very family friendly

Perfect Family Holiday
Pros:

Another awesome holiday at our favourite resort. Our family had yet another memorable holiday at the Rarotongan. The staff were welcoming and professional, the gardens were beautiful and the location (beach and snorkelling) is perfect.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Island Night and love the substantial breakfasts included. The rooms are clean and tidy and the housekeeping staff are always approachable and friendly; nothing is a bother.
If you have a spare hour or so and want a break from the beach, try some of the free activities offered by the lovely staff at the activities hut. Our family have been for guided walks, woven hats and more recently tried coconut husking (Maraea is a wealth of knowledge and a great teacher!)
We're looking forward already to our next visit!

Pros:

The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

I didn't like how everything was billed to the room number, it made it very hard to keep track especially in regards with the interconnecting room when the people in the two rooms weren't couples.

Amazing family holiday location for swimming with turtles

Great location
Swimming with turtles each day in the lagoon out front of the resort.

Cons:

Only able to keep gear for kayaking/paddleboarding or snorkelling for a short period before returning which meant a lot of back and forth to the area for that.

Week away with the family and grandchildren
Pros:

Location from the airport was great, especially with a mini bus hired for a week. Great reception on check in and felt like a welcomed guest.
Room wasn't what I thought I had booked but ended up enjoying it for the week as we were travelling with young grandchildren.
The breakfast choices were great and seemed the later you went in, the less was available, so go there around 8 - 9am to get the best choices. Overall a great selection.
We ate once in Captain Andy's and enjoyed the meal, but found better value elsewhere on the island which was disappointing as we generally like staying in house for our evenings.
Check out went ok, except for someone had charged a dinner show and drinks to our room, but luckily had proof we ate elsewhere and the bill was sorted.

Cons:

Beachside Room I would take as being on the beach, not being beside a pile of sand which looked like it had been made that way. No beachside view apart from a sandy soccer field from our villa.
The pool being very cold and we ended up swimming in the sea which was slightly warmer.

The wonderful staff and resort
Pros:

I was so impressed with the location, resort and especially the staff! I want to firstly recognise the amazing Ron (from Fiji) at reception for looking after me and my son during our stay! He was so incredibly helpful and kind! He couldn’t do enough for his guests - the resort is very lucky to have him. Also I would like to mention to Sudheesh who was our waiter and bar man (from India) who is the warmest, sweetest man who has the biggest smile when he sees you. All the staff and wonderful. This is one of the main reasons my son and I will be back next year, not just for the beautiful island, but the beautiful people who live and work here. Thank you again 🙏 Bridget and Will x

Beautiful place with beautiful staff
Pros:

The complementary breakfasts were beautiful catering for every need from overnight oats to bacon and eggs to order. All of the staff at the resort were so kind and friendly. The snorkeling rite at the doorstep of the resort was breathtaking.
Cocktails and food was exceptional.

Cons:

Not charged so much to use the washing machine and drier.

An island paradise
Pros:

Absolutely amazing place to stay beautiful staff who made us feel so welcome , amazing views and great facilities. Beautiful food and lovely cocktails would not stay anywhere else.

Great Location
Pros:

Such a beautiful location - snorkeling was amazing right at the resort. Best buffet breakfast I have ever experienced and the Island Night was also amazing. Would love to come back!
