This is my second review and the hotel continues to deliver. If you are working in or around the Kuningan area then look no further. Ask for a renovated room with lounge access and you will not/should not be disappointed.
Before traveling, I spent weeks comparing 5-star properties across Jakarta, looking at everything from location and dining options to room size and spa amenities. Ultimately, I decided on The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, and I can say without a doubt that it was the best decision I could have made.
From the moment my car pulled up to the main entrance, the legendary Ritz-Carlton hospitality was on full display. The front desk team made check-in seamless, welcoming me with warmth, genuine smiles, and a swift process that instantly set a relaxing tone after a long flight. The concierge desk deserves special praise as well, as their insider recommendations, transport arrangements, and attention to detail were top-tier, making navigating the city effortless.
The room itself was stunning, feeling exceptionally spacious, impeccably clean, and elegantly designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering great views of the city skyline. What impressed me most was the level of comfort. The plush, cloud-like bed and premium linens made for a remarkably comfortable stay, and despite being in the heart of a bustling metropolis, the room was remarkably quiet. I enjoyed an incredibly peaceful, uninterrupted night’s sleep every single evening. Ah and not to forget the electric toilet!
The dining and wellness experiences were equally exceptional. Every meal was a culinary highlight, featuring a vast and high-quality breakfast spread with a fantastic balance of local Indonesian flavors and international favorites. The restaurant staff were remarkably attentive, anticipating needs before I even had to ask. To top it off, the spa experience was pure bliss. From the serene ambience to the skilled therapists, it was one of the most relaxing treatments I have had at any hotel worldwide and the ultimate way to unwind after a day of travel. The ice bath, hot water plunge pool, changing and relaxation areas were some of the best I've seen.
My research paid off completely. The Ritz-Carlton in Jakarta sets the benchmark for 5-star luxury in the city. If you are looking for flawless service, tranquil accommodations, and world-class dining, look no further.

miejsc do leżenia). Bliskość dużego centrum handlowego (10 min pieszo)
Horrendalne ceny masażu (w sąsiednim Mariott prawie o połowę tańsze). Kolacja (serwowana w moim przypadku w cenie pokoju) mało różnorodna, za to podana w restauracji na najwyższym piętrze z pięknym widokiem.
Hotel chciał mnie wprawdzie podwójnie obciążyć za pokój (“nie widzieli” płatności dokonanej dzień wcześniej przez booking.com) ale po dłuższej rozmowie wszystko się wyjaśniło i w ramach rekompensaty zawieźli nas bezpłatnie hotelowa limuzyną na lotnisko. Wszystko z klasą.
This Ritz Carlton is the best in the world to me and mostly because of its people. When I come to Jakarta I stay here as much as possible.
The best part is the Cub lounge. I have been all over the world and the Lounge here surpasses every other hotel. The quality of food, layout and especially the people. This trip especially was so good because of Royana and Nafiri. They helped me so much from the time I arrived until I left. They are great ambassadors to the Ritz Carlton team and I want to recognize them specifically.

The perfect place to end our Indonesia roadtrip. Rest and recovery in luxury with a swimming pool, spa and a very nice dinner buffet.
The hotel shows its age. We stayed at room 1102. Dated decor and layout. The club room has limited choices of drinks and the snacks were looking very sad. The breakfast at Asia restaurant was even worse. Lots of empty displays and slow refills. The restaurant was chaos, messy and dirty. We had our food on the table but no cutlery and had to wait a while for it. We asked for some cloth which took a while as well to arrive and when it finally arrived, we got a very crease one. It’s just disgusting! I feel like we’re staying in 1* hotel instead of 5*. Very disappointed for Ritz Carlton standard! Lucky we’re only stayed for a night!
