La ubicación, se encuentra a 4 minutos andando de la Galería de la Academia
Partes de la habitación tenían una suciedad derivada de la dejadez, las cortinas con manchas marrones, el baño por lo menos estaba limpio, la cama no era muy cómoda.
Самое главное в этом отеле, это его местоположение, практически в центре города. Завтра был достаточно скудный и однообразный, но кофе и выпечка были отличные.
Изначально нам дали номер ужасного качества (стены грязные, холодильник не работал, абажур светильника практически рассыпался)такого номера нет даже на фото в букинге, после разговора на ресепшене, номер улучшили, именно на такой, который мы видели на фото, за это спасибо персоналу.
The hotel is very well located. I only stayed for one night and had originally booked another hotel, but when I saw a discounted rate for a single room at Hotel California, with breakfast included, I decided to rebook.
I arrived before check-in and was able to leave my luggage at the hotel. The reception is open 24 hours, which is very convenient.
The room I received was actually different from the photos, but in a good way. It was much larger than expected and had a double bed. There was complimentary water in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel itself is quite old, but the room was clean.
At first there was no hot water, but I realized that the electric boiler only starts working once the room key card is inserted to activate the electricity. After about 15–20 minutes, there was hot water.
For the €90 I paid for the single room, I think it was reasonable for Florence.
The air conditioning is very old and loud, so I had to turn it off during the night. Opening the window was not really an option because of the mosquitoes.
The biggest problem was the lack of soundproofing. At around 4 a.m., I was woken up by another guest speaking loudly on the phone with the speaker on. I could hear both sides of the conversation as clearly as if they were in my room, and this continued for more than an hour.
The bed was not particularly comfortable, although it was fine for one night.
The breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was very limited and not particularly appetizing. Since it was included in my rate, it was acceptable, but I would not recommend paying extra for it.
Overall, the hotel feels quite dated. It is advertised as a four-star hotel, but in my opinion the experience is closer to a basic three-star property.
Poloha hotelu, možnost parkování v garáži vedle hotelu se slevou, velikost pokoje, střešní terasa s barem s výhledem na duomo.
Špinavé zdi a podlaha, menší výběr u snídaně, která nebyla formou bufetu, ale servírovaná číšníky, což celý proces dost zdržovalo, zároveň snídaňová místnost byla dost ztísněná.
Ho prenotato questo hotel per mia figlia e due amiche. Tutte e tre erano molto contente del loro soggiorno, la camera era bella, pulita e tranquilla, e anche il bagno è stato all' altezza di tre ragazze schizzinose! La colazione è stata molto apprezzata e lo staff sempre cortese e disponibile, anche a fronte di richieste extra, è stato definito "simpaticissimo". La posizione è eccezionale per visitare la città e comoda per chi arriva dalla stazione.
Le ragazze non hanno trovato nulla da ridire!

The location is off the charts great. The building is ornate, beautiful and well kept. There are several terraces and little areas that you can relax and almost feel Italian.
The air conditioning units make the most frightful noises but they work. Once one gets over( or used to) the particular noises of the unit - it’s ok. It’s a nice touch that you can individually set it for your room

The room was stunning and spacious. Gorgeous terrace to relax in the evening. Bathroom was stunning and well equipped. Gorgeous small touches provided. The staff were welcoming and so friendly.
Wasn't really anything not to like.
The shower was a bit small, especially if you're on the chubby side . . .
