Pros:

We did not stay there this time, but we know the hotel is fine. We've stayed there previously, and the shuttle driver Harry is great, the accommodations are adequate for overnighting near JFK, the breakfast was satisfactory.

Cons:

Booking.com cancelled my reservation so when I arrived I was unpleasantly surprised to find that we had no room. My husband is 80 years old and it was a terrible inconvenience. No notification was sent from booking.com except the reservation confirmation. It was a very distressing and disappointing situation. The staff had no explanation other than Booking.com cancelled, and they had no available rooms. We had to find new accommodations late at night. We are seeking restitution for the hardship and inconvenience. Compensation is appropriate in this situation.

Don’t count on the airport shuttle
Cons:

Although I called the desk before booking and they said they had a 24 hr shuttle to the airport that left every hour on the hour, no shuttle left at 4am. No shuttle driver was even there. My only option was to pay another van driver lingering there $20 to get me to the airport.

Bad neighborhood, shuttle pick up only once an hour, bathroom and main door hinges were very Rusty so very noisy. Everything was very old and shower only had semi cold water at night the room was $200 and it should have been 40 dollars.
