Large hotel with a few restaurants to choose from. Rooms were very spacious and had balconies
Too many large groups checking in and then having to deal with all the people in the foyer with loads of luggage. Right at top of hill so taxis costing $20euro each way
Simply Exceptional. Best views in Sorrento above the Hilton quality as always. We will be back!
A fantastic hotel, beautifully clean, amazing and attentive staff, great food options and food. There is nothing not to like about this hotel especially if you are only staying a few nights. This hotel is totally dependable.
Nothing we got what we paid for.
Good pool.Good selection of restaurants. Well run hotel.
In the bathroom there should have been a door between the toilet bowl and sinks etc
The breakfast was really good and an amazing variety.
This is a lovely hotel…
Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Cooked food could be a little warmer but enough choice to start your day.
The hotel lobby is very large as are the lounge and terrace. Great views!
The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. I wouldn’t say they were impressive, decoration let them down, but they had what we needed and housekeeping were exceptional. We had a premium sea view room and I felt a little let down. We looked out onto gardens and if you looked left you saw the sea!
The pools are fantastic as are the facilities and staff near them. We found all the staff to he so very helpful. In particular Benito who was amazing the day we left, keeping in touch with the driver of our transfer to the airport, who was delayed. He definitely went above and beyond!
The hotel is on a hill!!! Not too bad to walk down but it is a hike back up if you are not fit or able to do so. There is a taxi rank in the main square but be prepared to pay 25 euros to get back to the hotel. Huge rip off but not much you can do about it!
Hotel was nice but the amenities and tour services are a total scam you should avoid.
Ótima Estrutura
I would have given a better rating. After all, this is a nice hotel in a splendid elevated position overlooking the sea. My room was comfortable with a good shower; the breakfast buffet was comprehensive with fresh orange juice, an omelette station and every permutation of hot and cold dishes. My issue was that, on my last evening of a three night stay, I rather fancied a drink in one or other of the two bars. The first, a beautiful location on the top floor with a terrace and beautiful views of the bay was shut. OK it was a Monday night so perhaps there was not the demand to justify staffing it. I tried the lounge bar next to the restaurant. Definitely open. It was, after all, only a few minutes after 9.30. I went to the bar - no menus, wine list or any indication of what delightful cocktails might be available. The barman did not offer any assistance but told me to take a seat and that one of his colleagues would take my order. There was no shortage of staff but I was ignored. One waiter did say hello but walked away without further enquiry as to whether I might have wanted anything. Perhaps as a lone 67 year old female I did not fit their preferred demographic. Who knows. I left and had an early and drink free night.
Very nice hotel rooms are spacious and clean there are lots of hangers and even a steamer for your clothes, breakfast is great plenty of choice something for everyone, the pool is lovely except for the music it’s too loud and annoying when you just want to relax, you can’t concentrate if you want to read a book for the music and the choice of music is not good we heard some of the lyrics has swear words this is not appropriate when there are young children and elderly people there, in all I say this is a very good hotel but the pool music spoiled it for us we won’t stay again for this reason.
Beautiful property sitting about 15 minutes on top of downtown Sorrento. Easy walk to and from town. The morning breakfast was amazing, as were the meals we ate in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive.
I was told the pool would be open by the 15th of May. Upon arrival was told delayed a day due to rain. On the 21st when we checked out, it still wasn’t open. Very disappointed.
This hotel was a wonderful way to relax in Sorrento. Whoever designed this hotel deserves high praise for providing thoughtful touches in the room, including the use of a clothes steamer! The view was also amazing!! We were on the 3rd floor and had a wonderful view of Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. We enjoyed sitting out one the balcony although we noticed the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and glitchy at times. Our room was large with a great bathroom. It was nice to have the extra counter space for makeup and toiletries. It was easy for 2 of us to get ready at the same time. As diamond members we were upgraded to a sea view room which was greatly appreciated. Since it was also our 49th wedding anniversary the hotel had chilled champagne and a small, delicious cake for us.. Thank you so much Hilton!!
Breakfast was really nice and was offered in both the restaurant and the Executive Lounge on the 2nd floor. The view from each place was beautiful! The executive lounge had both hot and cold good during Happy hour. We did not eat breakfast in the lounge since the breakfast buffet at the restaurant was amazing! The variety of food provided by the restaurant was great with an omelet station available as well. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the food was really good with a little "Italian" spin.
The walk into town took only 10 minutes down a hill. Walking back up after a full day of sightseeing on a couple of days was a bit of a challenge. We were so tired we didn't feel like walking back into town for dinner and liked being able to just stay at the hotel for dinner.
We highly recommend this hotel!
