We stayed here for a week in August with our 7-year-old son and had a fantastic stay. We were in Triple Executive Room 520, which was a really impressive, spacious room. Being on the top floor, we had a stunning sea view — the views really were amazing!
Breakfast was excellent, with a huge dining room and loads of choice. We mainly used the pool restaurant, which was much more relaxed and had lovely food. The pizza was absolutely delicious and went down very well with our son!
We also had access to the Executive Lounge, which was large, comfortable and with plenty of choices of drinks and snacks to keep our son happy.
The swimming pools were excellent — warm, clean and with a great choice of pools and areas for children. Our son really enjoyed them.
The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
We also celebrated our son’s 7th birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. I contacted the hotel before we arrived, and they very kindly arranged balloons and a cake for our arrival, as well as another birthday cake for his actual birthday. As we were planning to eat out that evening, we arranged for his cake to be brought out at breakfast instead. The staff even sang “Happy Birthday” to him, which was such a lovely touch. A brilliant effort from everyone involved, and we are very grateful for everything they did to make his birthday so special.
There are honestly so many positives about this hotel. The views are stunning, but what impressed us most was that the hotel doesn’t simply rely on its location. It is clearly a very well-run hotel, with great facilities, excellent service and staff who genuinely seem to care about their guests.
We had a brilliant week and would definitely recommend this hotel to families. A very impressive hotel and somewhere we would happily return to!
Good size room. Clean and good facility
Gave you coffee machines. But you had to buy your own water to make the coffee from day 2
Not enough sun beds
A big walk from town. Need a shuttle. Otherwise paying 20 euros in taxis

Staff
Clean rooms.
Ubers can get expensive but the views and pool make up for it.
Hotel con muchos servicios, varios restaurantes, piscina, canchas de pádel en un excelente estado. Instalaciones amplias y modernas.
Lo que más me gustó fue la amabilidad y actitud de servicio de todo el personal
Very big and luxurious room with a view, very clean. We loved it.

Book another hotel in Sorrento
After a 9-hour door-to-door journey from Rome, we arrived at the Hilton Sorrento Palace expecting the start of a special holiday celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday.
Instead, our first evening was completely ruined.
Our first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Looking out onto the roof below the balcony, we counted 47 cigarette ends, a cigar butt and other discarded rubbish. This simply isn’t what you’d expect from a Hilton.
We were then told the hotel was fully booked and spent the evening being shown three alternative rooms. One couldn’t accommodate the third bed we’d booked for our 8-year-old daughter. Another had a noticeable damp smell. We eventually accepted an “upgraded” garden-view room because we had little choice, but it also smelled damp, and the air-conditioning vent was covered in what appeared to be black mould.
What frustrated us most was being repeatedly told “there’s no smell.” Or met with shrugging shoulders, rather than having your concerns acknowledged, is incredibly disappointing customer service.
After spending hours changing rooms, we still weren’t settled until around 9pm. By then we were exhausted after a long day of travelling, our daughter was shattered and desperate for a shower, and our first evening in Sorrento had gone. This impact went into the following day as didn’t want to ge up early to enjoy the breakfast/pool.
Instead of wandering through the old town and celebrating our anniversary and birthday over a meal at one of Sorrento’s wonderful local restaurants, we felt forced to eat in the hotel restaurant, spending €93, simply because we no longer had the time or energy to go elsewhere.
To make matters worse, we all woke with heavy chests that left us wondering whether the room environment was affecting us, we were unable to open the doors in the even due to insects and mosquitoes.
We chose Hilton because we had such an exceptional experience at Hilton Malta. That stay set the benchmark for what we expected from the brand. Sadly, this has been the complete opposite.
The hotel may have been renovated, but it still feels like a large commercial conference hotel rather than somewhere deserving of its stunning Amalfi Coast setting. The views are spectacular, but beautiful views cannot compensate for poor room standards, lost holiday time and feeling that your concerns are being dismissed.
This was supposed to be the beginning of a memorable celebration.
Instead, it became one of the most disappointing hotel arrivals we’ve ever experienced.
La vue sur le Vésuve de la chambre, la proximité du centre ville à pied
Good ok not nice to Americans very clean beautiful views
We booked a 5 night stay on points and appreciated the ground floor garden view room upgrade with views of the bay and Vesuvius. Adequately sized room and bathroom with comfortable bed.
We liked the garden area with long free form pool. Received executive lounge access as a Diamond member. The lounge is very big with a nice terrace (however too hot to sit outside). We were a bit unlucky as it was very loud during the happy hour due to some American and British families. On the negative side, we experienced some unstable Wi-Fi and tv problems during our stay, but resolved after messaging via WhatsApp. The lounge hours are strange as it is open for appetisers and alcohol from 18.00 to 20.00, but the lounge closes at 18.00 and we received barely enough time to empty our last glass.
Check-in is 16.00 and check-out is 11.00. We received first a 12.30 and after discussion it was 13.00. A little earlier than expected but not a big deal.
Overall we had a very nice stay...
El desayuno, las vistas y la piscina
Everything. It was clean, friendly, excellent location, brilliant facilities.
This is a place where you can bring your wild children, so they can interact with other wild children. Parents, if you want to call them that, forget they are parents when they come here and let their kids do whatever they want. You'll hear them screaming at the pool, all day.
The rooms are BARE, furnishing is very minimal. The showers offer no privacy, so its one at a time.
If you are looking for a romantic getaway with your Sig other, this ain't your place.
It is also removed from the center of Sorrento's nightlife, and you'll have to take a taxi to everything.
They DON'T recognize any status (I'm a Reserve) so upgrades are very few and far between. They try to get every Euro they can from you.
The housekeeping staff is downright nasty, and the ladies I travel with told me the maid was yelling at them for leaving the hotel key in the room power slot. One of them got loud with me and I put her in her place real quick. All over something stupid.
I would never come here again. Like I said, it has a nice lobby and lounge, but that's it.
Our family loved staying at the Hilton Sorrento Palace. We visited during a hot July, and our children absolutely loved spending time in the pool—it was the perfect way to cool off.
The location was excellent, with the heart of Sorrento just an easy walk away. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and a great fit for our family.
The breakfast was outstanding—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. We especially enjoyed the fresh-squeezed orange juice, the delicious pastries, and the wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. Everything we tried was excellent.
Our only regret was that we were only able to stay for one night. We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to returning on our next visit to Sorrento.
