All was exceptional, great stay
Excellent facilities and food
Poor staff specially at Machan named Ritu , very discourteous and disrespectful. She should be thrown out immediately. We complained about her and immediately it was recognised . We didn’t face any issue after that in the hotel but I strongly advise not to keep her in the amazing facility like Taj Mahal.

The staff is very courteous, respectful, and always willing to help. This hotel has great breakfast options for visitors and locals alike. They take security seriously, so guests always feel safe anywhere on the premises. This hotel is located in the city center with close proximity to markets, historical sites and the likes.
Due to high humidity during this time of year, the room had a slightly musty smell that was not over-bearing or offensive, but definitely noticeable.

The hotel’s location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious escape without leaving the city. The property is beautifully maintained, with elegant interiors, lush gardens, and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly makes you feel relaxed. One of the biggest highlights is the magnificent swimming pool—easily one of the largest and most stunning hotel pools I have ever visited.
The dining experience deserves a special mention. Every meal was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and prepared to perfection. The restaurants maintain consistently high standards, making every visit a delight.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. A heartfelt thank you to Chetan, Twinkle, Rohit, and Diksha for making our stay so special. Their warm smiles, prompt assistance, and genuine hospitality made us feel at home. It is rare to find a team so passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
From the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our stay, everything reflected the legendary Taj hospitality. It’s a perfect destination for a relaxing staycation, family celebration, or a special occasion.

Had an incredible staycation at Taj Mahal, New Delhi, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Being the flagship hotel of Taj, it truly lives up to its reputation by offering world-class hospitality, luxurious surroundings, and an unforgettable guest experience—all within the heart of the city.
The property is elegant and beautifully maintained, with stunning architecture and lush landscaped gardens that create a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle. The views from the hotel are spectacular, and one of the biggest highlights was the enormous swimming pool—one of the largest and most beautiful hotel pools I have ever experienced. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The culinary experience was equally impressive. The food across the restaurants was consistently outstanding, with an excellent selection and impeccable quality. Every meal reflected the high standards that Taj is known for.
What truly made the stay memorable was the exceptional hospitality of the team. A heartfelt thank you to Chetan, Twinkle, Rohit, and Diksha at Front office also team from lounge is also amazing forgetting the names but for their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and personalized service perfectly showcased the essence of Taj hospitality.
From the luxurious rooms and immaculate facilities to the warm service and serene ambience, every moment of our stay was special. I had an amazing stay here. Had booked 2 rooms for my friend’s birthday. Starting from checking till the moment i checked out from the hotel the experience remainder perfect. Special mention for Chetan from front desk to providing a seem-less checkin and checkout. He was a great help ensuring our stay went flawless. Definitely deserves appreciation. Would surely comeback for our next celebration.
I am writing this feedback as a genuine Taj patron because I have always had high expectations from the brand.
I recently visited Captain’s Cellar, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered wine by the glass, but specifically requested that it be poured from a newly opened bottle. While serving, I noticed that one of the staff members appeared to mix wine from another bottle, which was quite surprising and concerning. To verify, I requested a freshly opened bottle, but I was informed that it was not available. This raised serious concerns about the wine service standards.
The overall service was also below expectations. There was no communication regarding the delay in serving the food, and we were left waiting without any updates.
Later, a lady in a coat introduced herself as the manager (I believe her name was Arohi). I expected the situation to be handled professionally, but instead I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Her attitude came across as indifferent, and there was no genuine effort to resolve the issue or improve our experience.
As a loyal Taj guest, this experience was extremely disappointing. I hope the management reviews the service standards and ensures that staff are properly trained in guest handling, communication, and wine service etiquette. Regrettably, based on this experience, I do not plan to visit Captain’s Cellar again.

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD
Had a fantastic stay. Staff is at your service on a blink of an eye. Everyone is eager to help. Spotless facility with a great pool area.
Took out a star for breakfast. Breakfast is a la carte and not buffet. There is a tiny cold buffet with some croissants, cheese and store bought plastic packaged yogurt. Everything else needs to be ordered. And it takes 10/15 minutes for it to appear at your table. While what ever we ordered tasted good, but missed the vibe of a grand buffet and the ability to look, choose and pick. The a la carte menu was also very limited compared to buffet offerings of other similar tiered hotel that I stayed in during my India trip.
Varq was also a disaster. But that they will be a separate review.
Overall, if buffet breakfast is not a requirement, then this hotel is a good pick.
My stay at the Taj Mahal Hotel was truly exceptional. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were elegant, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The dining experience was outstanding, with delicious food and excellent service. Every member of the staff was courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again and will gladly recommend the hotel to my family and friends.
