East or West Taj Bengal in the Best
Pros:

I always feel Taj Bengal is my second home. Tonmoy Banerjee and Concierge Sajeeb are always there. But I didn't get a chance to meet with Sanjeeb. My schedule and his schedule didn't match. Also, the bar staff was very professional, and I liked the poolside renovation.

Cons:

I forgot the name of another concierge. And I believe he talks too much unnecessarily. He needs to understand when the guest is tired or in a hurry.

Wonderful experience with my kids
Pros:

Home away from home: awesome Indian food ,wonderful staffs from managers to receptionist to security personnel, cleaners, catering & dining staff ( Furkan , Ishika , Riddhima etc everyone of them) n to the awesome Chefs for the culinary delights. Special thanks to Ashish n his team for the special care during the time when my children were swimming. N to Mr Dangwal & Mr Sanjib for all their hospitality. Looking forward to staying over again 🙏

Old style and very small bathrooms. The shower within the bathtub is a total no-no in today's time.

Pros:

The staff & the food.

Cons:

Rooms are jaded, bathroom fittings aren’t as clean as they can be and should be, furniture (round table in the bedroom) needs polishing, the water temperature in the shower could have been a few degrees hotter and the AC system didn’t chill the room. Overall attention to detail, along with newer tech rooms that are better maintained, is what’s needed, to do justice to being a legendary Taj property in a superb location. Also, apart from the Italian beer “Peroni”, no imported beer was available in the Junction Bar. This is unacceptable at a 5 star hotel. You need to offer a better selection.

Winding old Taj Bengal Property

Since i am staying from 1991., rooms have become old and requires immediate Modification / Retrofit
Food ( BF ) quality detoriated considerbly. Quality of staff / in services, Banquet, reception guiding young guys is missing
