Perfect!
Pros:

We are regular visitors to The Albatroz and find it is perfect for us. Breakfast is excellent, the location is amazing and the calm tranquil ambience in the hotel is so relaxing.

It was pleasant but I would not go back

The location is central.

Cons:

The welcome at reception was not very warm welcome, I think some of the staff could be a bit warmer, more friendly.
I wanted to treat my daughter and I to a nice hotel in Cascais but wish in hindsight that we had chosen something a little less “stiff”. There is no atmosphere.

Pros:

The staff is the best these hotel has. Marcos, Joao, Jose and David. That additional to the top restaurant where we has the best meal of our trip.

Cons:

Its an old property, so although its renovated our AC had some issues. However the staff was great about the whole problem.

Ne a látvány alapján ítélj és a csillagok számán, mert a valóság ezek mögött van.
Pros:

A szállás lokációja fantasztikus, ezt tényleg nehéz űberelni, az Óceán fölött egy 10 méter magas sziklán... lenyűgöző látvány-érzés. A reggelik csodálatosak a nyitott teraszos étteremrészen. A személyzet nagyon udvarias, mindíg figyelnek és készségesen segítenek. A szálloda fekvése a város tekintetében is kifogástalan, gyakorlatilag a sétálóutcára lépünk ki a hotelből. A medence hibátlan, a napozó terasz elég tágas és kellő mennyiségű napozóággyal, napernyővel rendelkezik. A szálloda szép, rendezett és tiszta, amilyennek egy 5 csillagos hotelnek lennie kell.

Cons:

Niylván erről nem a szálloda tehet, de Én kifejezetten nem szeretem a sznob másokat lenéző vendégeket, és sajnos volt belőlük jó néhány, nem figyelnek és tisztelik a másik vendéget, hangosak és úgy viselkednek mintha övék lenne a hely... Sajnos a szobánk sem tetszett annyira, mert-hogy ha a szálloda perspektíváját nézem akkor egy kiegészítő (függő-folyosóval) összekötött épületben voltunk. Először fel kell menni a másodikra, itt át a rövid folyosón a másik épületbe, majd lépcsőn (szűk) le a szobába. Kicsit olyan érzés mintha pince vagy alagsor lenne, én ilyen szinvonalú szállóba nem helyeznék ide szobát, vagy közvetlen kertkapcsolatot létesítenék vele medencékhez. A kilátás gyakorlatilag egy sövény, és ez nem hazugság. Szintén nem a szálloda tehet la, de a szálloda terasza "alatt" lévő kis beugró partról néha árad a fű-joint szaga amit a fiatalok előszeretettel ide bújva fogyasztanak, ez néha kellemetlen volt. A klíma elromlott az utolsó napon, ami nem okozott nagy gondot, ugyanakkor én telefonálgattam és érdeklődtem mikor lehet újra hűs szobába pihenni.. majd vacsora után hoztak egy "mobil klímát" ami egy vízhűtéses ventillátor volt, valamennyit hűtött, de nyilván nem valós légkondícionáló. Egyik este városi vacsorából visszaérve, bementünk a Hotel bárjába egy italra (óceán látkép, chill....) sajnos azt mondták "nem ülhetünk a teraszra, mert az "összes" hely foglalt vacsora vendégeknek.. :( leültünk végén egy szélső asztalra, ahol negyed órát vártunk amire kiért a kért 3 db ital (a kisölgy majdhogynem unott fejjel ledobta az asztalra), amelyet mintegy 15 perc alatt elfogyasztottunk, majd távoztunk és természetesen adtunk 10 % borrvalót.. Érkezésünk és távozásunk között eltelt fél óra alatt egyetlen vacsoravendég sem érkezett... csak az üres "foglalt" asztalok... Ha az én szállodám lenne, lenne egy-két fejlesztendő dolog, illyetve elbeszélgetnék a személyzet bizonyos tagjaival is. Most már biztosan nem veszem meg :)

Five Star Experience
Pros:

Absolutely a fabulous experience!!! A five star location, staff and amenities. Right on the beach, a beautiful pool, comfortable lounge chairs incredible views.. The breakfast, which is included was delicious and healthy. More than anything the staff was incredibly helpful, arranging drivers and a very experienced massage therapist. Short walk to town center and to train station. Great value, immaculately clean. Room was very comfortable, excellent shower. Thanks to ALL the staff.

Bed bugs
Pros:

We recently stayed at Hotel Albatroz in room 207 and had a very disappointing experience.

Shortly after arriving, we noticed blood stains on the sheets and I began waking up with numerous bites across my back. To rule out any other explanation, we requested fresh sheets and pillowcases. The following morning, the blood stains had reappeared, and I personally observed a bed bug on the headboard. We have photographs documenting both the bites and the insect.

After reporting the issue, the hotel moved us to another room. While we appreciated being relocated, the hotel refused to provide any refund or compensation for the disruption to our vacation. Because of the suspected bed bug infestation, we spent an entire day of our trip at a laundromat washing and drying our clothing and belongings instead of enjoying our holiday.

Management’s position was that they conducted an inspection of room 207 and did not find evidence of bed bugs. However, this does not change what we personally experienced, observed, and documented during our stay. The fact that we found blood stains, experienced bites, and saw a bug in the room was concerning enough that we felt compelled to relocate and take extensive precautions with our belongings.

The most disappointing aspect was not simply the condition of the room, but the hotel’s unwillingness to take meaningful responsibility for the inconvenience, expense, and loss of vacation time that resulted.

We chose Hotel Albatroz because of its reputation and location, which makes this experience even more frustrating. Future guests should carefully inspect their rooms and be aware of our experience in room 207.
