Overall I would highly recommend The Royal for its hospitality, comfort and location.
Pros:

Receptionist was very warm and welcoming. Room very comfortable.

Cons:

Fan or something outside wall/window of our room started early morning and was very loud.

Highly recommend!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay in Killarney! Our room was exquisite, with an incredibly comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, and a beautiful spa-like bathroom. The hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of pubs, shops, and local attractions. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it!

Pros:

There are so much to love! The kind staff, perfect location, and cozy room & bathroom were all highlights of our time in Killarney.

Cons:

Our room had windows facing an indoor corridor, which were half blocked by some concrete columns where several pigeons lived - would’ve loved to get better natural light or be able to open the window at night without fearing a feathered friend would end up in the room with us. Also, the free parking is a few blocks way (~5min walk). It was not a problem, but something we expected and was inconvenient at check-in/out and when leaving to drive somewhere.

Wonderful hotel , loved everything about it
Pros:

Absolutely loved this hotel . The rooms are great, the service is awesome, the location is perfect. Employees will remember your name, they are engaging and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Killarney . Can’t wait to come back.

Lovely hotel handy for station and town.
Pros:

Great hotel close to the station and just on the edge of the town centre. Lovely breakfasts, great service.

Cons:

Unusually has Aircon but it is not very effective. Probably the only negative.

Pros:

My Friends and I have an annual golf trip to Ireland. This was the first year we stayed at the The Royal Townhouse. The hotel is comfortable and beautiful and so well situated for walking to great dining and entertainment. What really sets this hotel apart from any of the others we stayed in, is the staff. Every single staff memeber we interacted with was beyond amazing. From the curb side bellhop, to the receptionist, to the wait staff, to the bartender, to the cleaning staff, etc.. They were all very friendly, helpful, acommodating, and professional. Our only regret is that our golf course selection only allowed us one night here. We will definitely be back next year and make sure our course selection allows us a multiple night stay at the Royal Townhouse!! This place and their staff is a master class for anyone wanting to learn the hospitality industry!!
