Everything top notch
Room 106 is above the restaurant and bar, and music comes through the floor except late in the evenings.
I like the property very much. On arrival we were told the property was full and booking.com bookends a room without there actually being space. They moved us to another hotel down the streets. This does not make me want to book with bookings.com in the future.
Love the New Decor. As usual Staff were very good .very helpful..Food very good .Breakfast excellent..

We loved everything about the Killarney Royal— updating is gorgeous, lovely beds and linens, spacious room with full amenities, quiet! The staff is wonderful and helped me host a tea for relatives. We’ll go back again and again!

Everything was really wonderful during our stay. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, even lending me an electrical converter for my stay. The breakfast was first class, with a hot meal menu plus a self serve buffet appealing to American and European tastes. I highly recommend!
We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2026, right in the middle of high season. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and modern, and the room large and comfortable with lots of space to relax. John, the concierge, went out of his way to be helpful at all times, and was friendly and chatty, giving advice on places to go. This hotel is a real haven in the heart of a bustling town!
We had a Irish full breakfast, but the scrambled eggs where on top of the toast making it soggy, Other than that it was lovely
My wife and I recently stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is lovely, and its convenient location made it super easy to explore the nearby sites.
As two disabled guests, accessibility and support are extremely important to us, and the entire team was exceptionally accommodating throughout our stay. John, the porter, went above and beyond to ensure our day wasn't interrupted, seamlessly making sure all of our belongings were delivered safely to our room.
We also had a minor issue when our coffee maker stopped working, but Patrick, the General Manager, was incredibly attentive and quickly resolved it for us.
Overall, the warmth and helpfulness of the staff made our trip stress-free and memorable. We highly recommend this hotel!
Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Royal Townhouse and loved every second of it. John and Yana were so welcoming and gave us fantastic advice and knowledge about the local area. They greeted us with a glass of whiskey each and sent us home with a box of fresh scones. They really made our stay extra special and added that personal touch. We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable
