Very pleasant, good location, comfortable and staff were great.
Pros:

We were accessing the Opera house and it was perfect for us to be able to walk OR train to the location. We did find the bathroom very small, the bed very comfortable and the room plenty big enough for us. Staff we encountered in the bar, breakfast room and at reception were, without exception, very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

A little maintenance seems required. Nothing serious, but the toilet seat (room 701) needed straightening and tightening. The shower temperatures we found sometimes fluctuated between very hot and quite cold without altering the tap settings. These were items not serious enough to complain about at the time, but I am sure someone is likely to point out. Street noise in the early hours was sometimes disturbing.

Pros:

Very central, yet in a quiet lane, so no traffic or nighttime noise. Carpet was a little old but the rest of my room had been done up nicely, keeping with the theme of the hotel.
It was also very clean and had a comfy bed.

Cons:

The bathroom is small but given it is an older hotel, was expected. It didn't affect my stay
