In general we had a nice time and would consider staying here again, hopefully the pool loungers and room situation wil
Pros:

Very rustic and quaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool staff and housekeeping were exceptional- Thank you so much Amy for the refreshing drinks poolside on a scorching hot day 😎

Cons:

The building in general definitely needs updating and renovation. Our room, which was in the unattached building 100s section had a musty scent, probably due to the age of the building, which was bothersome. Doors should have Security going in and out of our building, especially at night, it was just open access to our hallways, room key sensors to enter the building should be considered. The pool itself was mediocre. Although the pool staff was wonderful there were not enough
loungers to accommodate hotel guests. Allowing day passes during busiest times for non hotel guests may help avoid this situation. The water cleanliness could be better maintained as far as cleanliness because of the amount of people in and out of the pool as well.

Great place for a weekend get away.
Pros:

Pool and Spa: They have both indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool setup like a greenroom which also have enough natural light coming in. Combine with Sauna and hot spring. It's an amazing relaxation experience. The only problem is you can only use the facility until 12pm while the checkout is 11am. The timing is slightly off.

Cons:

The restaurant quality for the price I would expect better food.

Overrated and extremelty dated hotel-disappointing experience overall and poor value for the money.
Pros:

1. Luggage taken to our rooms by a porter with a luggage cart upon arrival.
2. Lovely experience with our very friendly and helpful waiter in the "Vintages" wine bar for an after-theatre meal.
3. Bathrooms and bedding were clean.

Cons:

I sincerely don't like to complain, but I hope an honest review will help other guests make a decision about a stay here:
1. Front desk staff extremely frazzled at 3 p.m. check-in. Arrived 20 minutes early and expected a wait; told to expect a text when our rooms were ready, but none came. Went to the front desk at 3:10 p.m. to ask if the room was ready yet; the irritated attendant snapped "It's too busy! Too many people checked in early!" This is a LUXURY hotel in a PRIME tourist town. A surge in check-ins should be expected (at check in time!) on a busy weekend and handled with grace and patience by the front desk staff - the guest should not be made to feel like they were inconveniencing the staff.
2. Little to no accessibility. If there is, not offered to my elderly mother (91), who uses a cane for mobility - and we were placed on the 2nd floor up two sets of OUTDOOR stairs! (Told it was "just a few steps up").
3. Front desk terribly located. No stanchions to form an orderly queue - instant confusion about who is next and where to stand. Poor planning in the lobby in general - those arriving at the main entrance (through one small door) walk directly into the crowd of those at reception waiting to check in.
4. Had a breakfast reservation at "The Cannery" - on arrival, asked apathetically, "are you on the wait list"? Not, "Welcome, how can I help you?" We still had to wait 5-10 minutes for them to "clear a table" - yet when we were led to a table, the room was full of empty tables (in a section that was fully in use).
5. In general, this hotel is TERRIBLY in need of refurbishment. Dirty carpets throughout, worn furniture, A/C controls hanging loosely off the wall, holes in the bathroom wall, greeted by a dirty (empty) laundry bag sitting on the floor in front of our room door.
