The bedroom was a good size and the bed was comfy and with a nice view at least fom my floor. The location was great an close to Public transport and places to eat
The wifi on my floor was bad could no connect most of the time and the sginal waas poor at most 1-.2 bars/ The the only time i got more was standing at the room door.
Great friendly staff, held our bags before and after stay ready for our flight.
were given towels and hand towels but no face washers.
For us the location was key. It was within walking distance from Central Train Station as well as across the road from the Capital Theatre which we had tickets for a show. We were also relying on public transport so most of that was available within a block or two from where the hotel was.
The shower area was well used and a bit run down. The wifi in our room was particularly poor. At night it was non existent maybe due to all the users? We expected noise to be an issue mostly due to being right in the center of town. The noise from the hallway was more than we expected tho.
Nice location, comfy hotel, your average hotel experience.
The wifi simply didn't work which was a big problem for someone on a business trip like me. The staff wasn't very helpful or knowledgeable, everyone felt like they were dragging their feet and unwilling to help. It's overall a pretty expensive hotel for an average experience, but i guess that's sydney for you.
The location
Staff member who booked us in was not very friendly. Bathroom was not ina good state, mold was evident.
Good location.
WiFi do not stable
Did not have breakfast
The WIFI was very disappointing. Kept dropping.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Even though things were a little out dated the room was clean.
Could update old swollen bathroom cabinetry & improve old mattresses for better comfort.
Location - convenience of leaving and picking up bags
Room was not ready at 2pm despite that being the correct time for check in
The location was convenient, but the bathroom needs an update. The shower is over the bath, with a shower curtain. It was also a bit noisy.
Wouldn’t stay again. I rather pay more and stay at Meriton. Uncomfortable old beds. Everything is so old and outdated. No onsite parking and they say to pay $50 to metro hotel and park at World square, so we did. Then as we exited it said we would have been charged $44 if we paid at the boom gate. So that’s annoying Metro charged us more. There’s a big step up into the bath tub to use the shower. And I nearly hit the roof at 5”7. Not good for very tall people. I was on level 5 and could hear the traffic, can hear others doors slam in the morning as everyone’s leaving. The bathroom sink is tiny with a shelf above it, making it hard to spit your toothpaste out. Needed to tilt my head sideways to get half under the shelf to spit.
There’s also only one hook on the back of the door for towels. And I had to sit nearly sideways to use the toilet because of the half wall that’s there in front of it. I’m not large either just tall.
