Carman and Emily at the front reception was both brilliant ,very polite and helpful and very professional
I travelled from London for work with the TfGM and was booked for 4 days and 3 nights. First time in Manchester and the hotel represented the city/ region extremely well! I arrived 3am in the morning and a member of staff called Mekeeda was on duty by reception. She was friendly and clearly explained the protocols of the travelodge.
Breakfast was added to my booking by my employer. Every morning a gentleman, I believe is called Darren was always there, being courteous and ensuring not only me, but other customers felt welcomed. The breakfast was generally good, always warm and they did replenish cooked food. The only small constructive feedback I was say is about providing beans. All 3 breakfast's I never saw beans (but it could be because I always came in the last 30 minutes of breakfast).
I needed an iron to iron my work clothes and I asked member of staff called Carmen for an iron and ironing board. She kindly offered to deliver it to my room, which was greatly appreciated.
The room I stayed in was very clean, it had a fan which kept the room temperature cool and I did not feel hot in the room. It is a typical travelodge room, but the only difference I noticed was the size of the TV. The TV was at least 42", which was impressive!
Overall excellent stay and I have asked my employer, Transport for London to rebook here for any future work!
Stayed here with friends. Mia and Emily served us at the bar. Both really lovely and made our stay really good.
My daughter had just bought an apartment across the way so the poor parents had to find accomodation close by.To be honest Travelodge Riverside was very close and for £25 on a Sunday night you could not go wrong.Iam told the Travelodge had not long bought it and had done the place up.The rooms were normal Travelodge size but you could tell the room had been painted etc the bathroom was very clean and tidy,In the main reception area you had the restaurant and bar which looked very nice to be honest but we did not use it.Across the way you have a retail park which has your normal shops and it is about 1 mile into the main city centre. Also parking was £9 for 24 hours and when we arrived they had plenty of parking. We will be back.
Had an amazing time at riverside.
Carmen & Harvey amazing staff who look after their guests so well good experience would stay here again.
Had an amazing stay at riverside yet again, Carmen and Chloe were amazing, they went above and beyond like usual and are an huge asset to travelodge!
Stayed here over the semi final for the football, amazing staff and great atmosphere
Steph Mia and Harvey are amazing and a great credit to your team
During the hot weather this room was unbearable, it was like a prisoner of war torture facility. The windows could only upend a few centimetres and there was no other source of ventilation. It was hot throughout the night
Ideal for our needs, staff good. Poppy who looked after us in the morning was outstanding she was a natural in hospitality. Travelodge I would make sure you keep hold of her she helps keep your reputation.
Great welcome at travelog from reception staff mainly Stephanie, mia and emily
So polite friendly and helpful
Beautiful entrance
Great service. Lovely staff also. Special thanks to Mr Shelly for going above and beyond to assist me with a lost item which I eventually found thanks to his help!
Had an amazing time at the river side Manchester travel lodge.
Room was very clean and perfect for what we needed.
We spent Friday and Saturday in the bar being served by carmen and the manager Jo who also checked us in. Both woman were professional , very friendly and chatty and made our experience.
Only thing we were disappointed by was breakfast it wasn’t refilled quick enough and some warm food was cold, also no fried eggs.
Thank you Jo for a lovely couple of evenings in the bar.
The staff worked really hard to provide us with tasty food and drink and very friendly service on our visit to Manchester. Thank you very much!
Joanne is an absolutely diamond, incredibly helpful and friendly at the front desk, thank you!
Real warm welcome from Mia Jo and Steph. Complimentary water on arrival was really welcome with the soaring temperatures outside. Couldn’t have done anymore. Would recommend.
Clean hotel and very friendly staff. Big car park £9 per night good location.
Sensational experience from the moment I checked in at reception, friendly staff, nice facilities and the weather just complimented how good the stay was!
Big up Steph, Mia & Jo!
Steph, Mia & Jo were really friendly, hospitable and helpful with all our queries.
Firstly what an amazing steph is at reception… She sorted my room and my booking and helped me with an issue . Stayed here for a week on business. Close to Sainsbury’s and retail park . The hotel is clean and has a car park . The manager is very friendly and was attentive to my needs . The other receptionist are brilliant cannot do enough for you … highly recommend for friendly place and location . I have booked my next stays simply because how I was treated and location … Thanks guys
Staff, especially Mia are fab. All so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy and we paid a great price (less than £100). We had a twin room which was clearly a full time twin, no horrible sofa bed like in PI’s. I’ve not stayed at TL’s much but based on this experience I’m a convert. Location was great for central Manchester. An uber cost us £6 but you can easily walk in. Breakfast was also good, we came down at 9:45am on a Sunday and walked straight on, PI they’d be queuing out the door and tables would have dirty pots. Not here. All in all a great hotel and I’d definitely stay again.
