LOCATION on Duval is excellent! Access to everything that is ‘Key West ‘. VERY clean, excellent staff & service! We appreciated coming back to a cool, cleaned room.

Perfect location. Well appointed room. Excellent breakfast included.

Excellent stay. Wish we had longer. The Orchid Key Inn is well located and easy to walk to what we wanted. But that is not the half of it. This Inn is well appointed with an attentive staff. The retro facility has been updated, is clean attractive and comfortable. The level of service is found nowhere in chain hotels. Our first visit will surely not be our last.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Orchid Key Inn! The staff is so friendly and attentive! The place is beautiful and clean, in the heart of Duval St, yet quietly situated! Randy and Niall pour up some spectacular drinks at the cozy bar! The pool and surroundings were wonderful! Def can’t wait for a return trip!

Everything was wonderful, from the staff at the front desk to the bartenders and breakfast staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and made you feel special. The pool was so clean and the breakfast set up was great each morning. Fresh fruits along with all the other bfast treats. Room was clean and comfy and the grounds are just beautiful with all the orchids. We will definitely be back.

We’ve been home a month now and I’m finally able to write a review without getting too depressed!

This is our absolute favorite hotel in Key West. I think this was our 7th (?) stay at Orchid Key and our longest which I think made it harder to leave!

We love everything about this hotel. The staff - Carlos, Janae, Tina, Cindy, Enrique, Niall & Randy are the best! Rooms are always clean, as well as the grounds. Pool and surrounding area is well-maintained. Orchids everywhere! Location is perfect. Even though it’s on Duval, it sits back far enough from the street so it’s pretty quiet. Can’t wait to go back (hopefully next year!!).

FABULOUS! We’ve been going to Key West for 30 years and have stayed in many places. The Orchid Key deserves a great review. We enjoyed morning coffee and complimentary breakfast by the pool. The staff worked diligently cleaning all chairs, sweeping the grounds and had a friendly smile. Attention to detail is how I would describe this place! Very clean and comfortable. Happy hour at night, the staff put candles at every chair. Can’t say enough about the tropical atmosphere- orchids and Star Lillies everywhere. We enjoyed every moment there. Will definitely return. Kudos to Cindy.

One of those reviews you hate to write so you can keep this gem to yourself! Truly perfect in every way, us and another couple stayed for the last 4 days and could not come up with a single thing that could be improved upon. We have traveled extensively and have realistic but also high expectations relative to price and how something is promoted. This may be the first time ever that not only every expectation was met, but exceeded. Super clean inside and out, fantastic helpful friendly staff, amenities that are not typical for this type of motel, perfect location, everything you want and then some, and a vibe that's pitch perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The location on Duval st. close to so much , but very quiet and cozy.
The setting is clean, beautiful and charming. The rooms are on the smallish side but comfortable and pristine. Also a cute bar with good drinks-shout out to bartender Randy-serving happy hour snacks and drinks, and a nice breakfast buffet. We loved our 4 night stay.

Perfekte Lage in old Town

Our stay at Orchid Key was wonderful from start to finish. Check-in was smooth, and we were immediately greeted—Mr. P, the assistant manager cat, was an adorable and memorable touch. The small bar and high-top seating create a relaxing atmosphere, and the continental breakfast was fresh with a nice variety. The pool may look small at first but is actually perfect, with comfortable loungers and beautiful orchids throughout the property. Murals and thoughtful design give the entire hotel a true resort feel. Our room was modern, spotless, and well stocked with a fridge, coffee maker, water, snacks, and cozy robes. It was quiet and relaxing—perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary. The concierge-arranged e-bike rental was incredibly convenient. Located right on Duval, everything is within easy walking distance. Highly recommend!

Location was perfect however, our room and view of the parking lot was not ideal. Very expensive trip for an old motel with a subpar pool and hot tub. Lots of gluten food items but no gluten free bagels, etc. just a hard boiled egg, fruit and yogurt. Quite disappointing but front desk ladies were very welcoming.

Orchid Key Inn is truly amazing Hidden gem. It is clean and exactly as advertised. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. It is perfectly located and we walked everywhere we went during our stay. They even offer breakfast that you can eat while.sitring around the pool. It is small and you feel like you are tucked away in a beautiful oasis while being right off Duval street. It is adults only. We like to spend our time exploring the local area so we didn't mind that there was only a small bar. We are already talking about returning!

This trip was our first time in Key West. We looked at a number of places and this was a great combination of price and location. Everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Orchid Key is a smaller property and bonus - adults only! The time spent in the pool was so relaxing with no splashing and noise. You're surrounded by trees and orchids and butterflies. The breakfast was nice - fresh fruits, yogurt, breads, and meats and cheese to get you started for the day.
The location is perfect - on one end of Duval St to great access but none of the noise. The rooms are great. After you've done all the sites, the Orchid Key has a beautiful little bar that the locals like to go to.
Rent bikes to get around although you can certainly easily walk the areas. We got a golf cart for a few hours to tour the rest of the island.
I loved it here and can't believe we picked such an amazing place to stay!
ps - no one told me about Key West's free range chickens!!
