WoW the Canal
Pros:

What I thought I would like was the close proximity to seeing ships on the canal but line of site from assigned room due to trees blocking the view we only saw 1 or 2 cross per day.

I realize when you book thru 3rd parties, they often block off certain rooms that aren't the best.
The staff was excellent in spite of these issues, especially Nelson at the front desk.

Cons:

BREAKFAST food was minimal and often cold. TV streaming channels were in Spanish and unable to change even after calling mtnce.

Lovely hotel.We enjoyed our vacation stay at this hotel.
Pros:

Wonderful location with lovely view of the ocean. Could see large cargo ships transiting by. Perfect walk way for a stroll or jog. Close distance to the museum. Large pool for families. Rooms are large and quite spacious with a balcony.Hotel provided a splendid continental buffet breakfast. 2 other restaurants close by. I couldn’t praise the staff enough…attentive,courteous,pleasant. House keeping was on top with Ms Criselda. Hotel provides free transport daily to the shopping mall with their very amiable,well spoken assistant Mr Alberto. If you are looking for a quiet,peaceful vacation ,this is your place.

Cons:

We stayed for 10 days. We had issues with slow Wi-Fi in our room location. I’m a crazy fan of football and missed out on many fifa World Cup matches as they were not available on tv. Netflix was unavailable due to the same Wi-Fi issues. The hotel could do well with some form of activity/ entertainment for guests even if only on weekends.

I enjoyed it mostly because of the pool side, the warm staff and the beautiful environment.
Pros:

I think the furnishing is a little old in the rooms and effort should be made to modernize them. Otherwise it was good. I really loved the pool side and the view from there of the ocean as well as its Jacuzzi. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok.

Cons:

Just the furnishing in the rooms. It’s old and a modern outlook will be better

Beautiful canal views, but manage your expectations.
Pros:

Large outdoor pool, lovely walks along the Panama Canal right by the hotel, and it's quiet. Nice view to the ships passing by. Comfortable bed. There's also a great seafood restaurant just next door - the food is delicious and the portions are generous.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit old, the furniture and facilities are worn and outdated, but clean. The air conditioning in our room didn't work, and staff weren't able to fix it. They changed our room only after we said we were ready to move to another hotel (as the room was really uncomfortable to stay in) - not a pleasant position to find yourself in. I expected a slightly higher standard of service from Radisson. But anyway, the problem was solved, so I'm grateful, as everything else was really good.
Also, the hot water took a really long time to run before it actually got hot (on the higher floors), which felt awfully wasteful environmentally, though totally understandable given the property's age.
