The new hot tubs at the Banyan feels like resort living.
Pros:

The Banyan has been my ultimate favorite place to stay in Waikiki for past 35 years because it's roomy with full kitchen, long balcony, parking spots, and best of all, 3 brand new hot tubs, a pool, tennis court, 9 bbqs and the biggest koi fish around. It's on the quiet side of Waikiki at Kapiolani Park.

STAYED OUT OF THE ROOM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Cons:

ROOMS ARE OLD AND OUTDATED. NEED TO BE RENOVATED. MATTRESS SPRINGS NOT COMFORTABLE, TORN COUCH CUSHIONS, DUCTAPE COVERING HOLES ON BLACK OUT SHADES. JUST OLD, OUT DATED AND DINGY. PICTURES ON WEBSITE ARE DECIEVING. KITCHEN NEEDS UPDATING AS WELL. CARPET IS VERY OLD.

最上階からの海の眺望。

Cons:

エレベーターの待ち時間が非常に長い。浴槽横のガラス戸が、傾斜があるのか勝手にスルスルと開いてしまう。

スタッフの対応が悪い所と水回りがとても汚かった
エレベーターが故障していてドアがなかなか閉まらなかったところ

Great place to stay in Waikiki
Pros:

Perfect hotel for our family, with all needed amenities. We appreciated having doors closing the bedroom from the living room/kitchen area, so we could continue our evening while the kids were asleep. We liked that there was a washing machine on our floor, being there for 10 days. Hotel is ideally located two blocks from the beach and not directly in the nightlife agitation, which is good with kids. Staff is very friendly. The biggest wow is the view of the Hawaiian Mountains we got from our room, so beautiful, I'm not sure I will get the opportunity to have that kind of a view from my balcony again in my lifetime. Truly breathtaking. The only negative point is that the room is in need for renovations and could be a little cleaner, but was clean overall. Thank you for making our vacation unforgettable.

Having the amenities are such a positive versus the overall condition of the hotel but not again
Pros:

Size of room with a full kitchen was so great to have plus laundry down the hall

Cons:

There were several leaks in the room. Smelled really moldy. And the bathroom had a large clump of hair in the bathtub. Really gross

Cons:

A better room like the kitchen being open to the living space and not tucked away on the side. Waiting for a for a long time get an open grill to barbque.Two of the grills were not working.

Don’t believe the pictures that are posted online! This “hotel” has two towers, only Tower One looks new/has been renovated. Tower Two is old and run down.

Not recommended place to stay
Pros:

We were expecting more for our stay at the Aston. The room had 2 bedrooms and a couch. The room really need some upgrades / refurbishments. Amenities fees don’t come cheap at 32 $ plus taxes. Parking fees came up at 43 $ per night. The check out was miserable, we were at floor 10 and saw 5 elevators stopped but already full of people. At the end, we had to take stairs! The pool was jammed! Location was not bad !

Such a great place to stay! It has everything!
Pros:

Such a great place to stay. The building looks a little dated. Don't let that impact your decision to stay here. The unit was nice, well appointed. The recreation deck has a gorgeous pool, 3 jacuzzis, a basketball court, BBQs. 1 block from the beach. 2 Starbucks 0.1 miles away. Super convenient location and has everything you need. Highly recommend.

リニューアルされた部屋は清潔で快適でした。
有料と思っていたタオル交換やゴミ捨て等も無料で
した。レクレーションデッキも改装され素晴らしい
覚悟していた観光税もなく非常にコストパフォーマンスが良く感じられた
